Food didn't blow us away, but it was good. I don't think we tried anything on the menu that we could fairly judge as a specialty that was my preference. Service was nice and speedy. Would come back for just the drinks alone.

If your going to be their for a long time good choice we waited 30 minutes for menus and our drinks the food took 1 hour to arrive and we asked for the check serval times instead we were served desert that we did not want and were forced to pay it the food was good got their at 6 left at 11. ):

Very good food and some interesting dishes we have not tried before. We split multiple appetizers, soaps, salads so we got a good variety, but we did not order any main dishes. Honey cake and cocktails were great too. A little on the pricey side, but hey if you want real food what is not expensive now. Overall, a great experience and will go back.

Best restaurant experience we've had in years. The food was amazing and cocktails were balanced and yummy. Staff was friendly and service great. We know it's tough to compete with the “trendy” spots in the city and so glad to support a place that deserves it. . We booked this last minute before heading to comedy at the Masonic. My husband chose this as he read about this “hidden gem.” If you're looking for a great experience, excellent food and drinks, without having to deal with competing for a table at the latest trendy spot, this place is perfect! We will be back for sure!

LOVE this charming little restaurant & our sweet & helpful server, Olesie. Creative cocktails & some interesting Balkan wines to supplement the California selections (mostly women-owned wineries). Every course has a little extra crunch or texture to take it up a notch. Scallop crudo, Slavic stew, turkey & chicken cutlet & cabbage rolls like my Jewish Boby used to make — all excellent. But, the best was the honey cake for dessert: not too sweet — more like honeyed sour cream. Good value as well!

I'm surprised by the high ratings for this restaurant. Our food, specifically the cabbage dish, was severely lacking in salt (no salt at all), as were the dishes our friends ordered. While the chicken skewers were okay, the only saving grace was their cocktails, which were decent. We felt the overall price was not justified by the quality of the food. When we brought the issue with the salt to our server's attention, they never returned with an update, which was disappointing.
