Great kalbijjim – line too long sometimes. Other locations might be easier to get in
Daeho is hands down my favorite Korean spot. The kalbi jjim is the best, and it’s the main reason we keep coming back. There’s always a line here, so definitely try to get on the waitlist if you can, otherwise be ready to wait. The vibe is pretty noisy and bustling, but the food makes it all worth it. Great spot if you’re craving amazing Korean comfort food.
The ribs were the best!!

Food was okay but not amazing. Service fine 😇
Great food, terrible service. I received a text that my table was almost ready and that I should head back to the restaurant…no mention of having to check in. When I was first on the waitlist I checked in with the hostess and she said that she cannot seat me because I didn’t check in when I received the initial text. Make your policy known! How can new guests adhere to a mysterious system that is not announced or made public. It seems like a way to gatekeep the restaurant and keep the regulars happy.
The kalbijim changed my life fr. I’m visiting from out of town, and I can’t wait to come back to eat this again😭😭 The wait is really long and it’s really expensive but definitely worth it!!!

Hands down best kalbijjim from a restaurant and I crave it from time to time. This second time we got the premium kalbijjim (large, mild, cheese) and it was intense, flavorful, unbelievably good. The short rib meat was so tender. Each bite was bursting with flavor. Whenever we come back to SF, we will come once again!

Devoured. The soup is so flavourful along with the vegetables cooked in it. The potatoes carries and radishes were so soft. The beef is also super flavourful and tender. Everything was beautiful with the melted cheese on top. Only complaint is that there is barely any tteoboki 💔

The Kalbijim here was amazing, the meat was sweet and juicy and the portion was very large. My only complaint was that the staff kept rushing us because there was a lot of people waiting.

Don't believe the menu, it's enough food for 4 people haha
It's delicious, the one thing I would do different is get the good meat since the cheapest option has a lot of hard to chew parts.

Restaurantji Recommends
This place was amazing. I went with a party of three on Monday, and the wait for a table was 0 seconds, (we got a table upon entry.) We sat down and were served water, and the waiter was super nice. About 5 minutes later, we were served some great appetizers. If you don't like spicy, then maybe avoid some of the dishes because they are a little spicy. After a little bit of time, I was served my main course, which was a steaming stone pot with delicious beef along with rice and vegetables. I don't exactly remember what it is called, but it is amazing. I finished most of it, and it was delicious. San Francisco is a little far from my house, but I think there is a location in San Mateo, and I will definitely going there, and if there is no location there, I'm coming back here. If I am doing anything in San Francisco, DEFINITELY coming back, no doubt. If I could rate this over 5 stars, I would.

Tried to go with a couple of friends last Friday. We arrived by 7:15 and they told us the waiting time was 45 minutes. As the 45 minutes passed we got a text message saying that table was ready; then the waitress said she wanted to know if we were still around… another 50 minutes passed and they didn’t even tell us what was going on, after multiple times asking they gave us a menu and told us “you have to order now, and you may be seated in 30 more minutes”
I don’t know why they play like that, I’d rather if they tell me: “waiting list is 2 hours” then I could decide, but playing with customers time is the worst. Definitely not coming back ever, and not recommend to any people I know, sad because the food is good.
