Better than New York bagels says the New York TimesTried the new fried chicken thigh with organic coleslaw on organic Montreal woodfired bagel. It was really great.For those who go around the bay area trying every new chicken sandwich modeled after Bakesale Betty's like Dave's's, famous hot boys, Cane's , Proposition Chicken, The Bird please add this one to your list.Add Cholula sauce it was perfect
While expensive, this place is very much worth it. The bagels are so homemade, and they're delicious. Best bagel in SF hands down!I will say, something very weird about this place is their cream cheese. I've spoken to plenty of people about it, and I'm not the only one: the cream cheese is grainy, like goat cheese. It's such an uncomfortable mouth feeling, it doesn't taste right. We had delicious, fresh bagels and breakfast sandwiches. Mmmmm. The cultured butter. The chew on the bagels. So good!The service was fast and friendly. Food was outstanding. We love the restaurant setting. It is spacious, clean and welcoming. It’s definitely our go-to when we are in the Dog Patch.
