Stayed at the grand Hyatt in union Square. Just a short walk. Was recommended by employee. Wife and I enjoyed the experience.
I amm visiting San Francisco for business and was meeting my lovely wife for lunch near our hotel (St Francis). The name of this restaurant had come up in a search from the night before so I suggested we stop and eat.
Love the wood interior. Good food. Good service.
the food is comfort food, and good....beer is reasonably priced for the city
Great joint in the heart of san Francisco. Goid casual lunch and great service. I had the burger which was not bad at all and my wife had the impossible burger with Hamus avocado and it was delicious.
Excellent spot for quiet Sunday night dinner. The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. Cozy, quiet atmosphere.
We frequently stay at the Clift when in SF and were pleasantly surprised to find The Daily Grill just about 2 blocks away. Consistently good food and friendly staff. Nice break from the tourist hustle and bustle
Overall this is a nice restaurant. The restaurant creates a nice environment and is very spacious. It was not very busy when my group came in for lunch. The service was just okay. Our waiter did not have many tables but did not stop by the table very often. It took us to ask as least 2 times for him to bring refills on our drinks. The food service was VERY slow. Over all the food was tasty. Nothing too special but it was good. I would definitely go back again.
If I could give zero stars it would be more accurate. Checked in and was given a 45minute wait time to be seated. We were seated in less time but after sitting at our table for over 40 minutes we still never got our food. We finally realized it was better to bail out and eat somewhere else. What a disappointment! Bar tenders were not friendly either. We ordered fries at the bar and never got those either, but they tried to charge us for them.
Food and especially drinks were pretty good. Cilantro/coriander was not mentioned on the menu but it was in the food (at least in the Santa Fe Chicken Wrap). Make sure to ask the waiter about that before ordering!

Just kind of mediocre bland food. Wine was good though.
I have eaten at this location plenty of times over the years on travel to SF. Solid spot with old school steakhouse feel to it featuring American style menu and some comfort foods. Service is generally very attentive and friendly. Food is for the most part good. It has gotten a little pricey over time, but has a nice location near Union Square. Bar can get very active.
Stopped on a whim because we were walking by. Enjoyed the ambiance, service, and especially the food. I loved the chicken pot pie!
Good service and food. They were accommodating of my food intolerances; menu adjustments weren't a problem. Salad was perfectly dressed; not swimming in dressing.
fabulous Ambience, great staff and Yummy food.. an added Bonus was the Pinot, Meiomi!
