What a fantastic place. I wanted to try this place for specifically its cupping pepperoni and I was not disappointed. The people behind the bar that night were so friendly, were hustling to get all their drinks made, gave just enough space and attention for us to enjoy our meal and chat while attending to everything else. We got both their pepperoni and the potato pesto pizza to try and loved it. Their crust is perfectly leopard spotted, not too thick, didn't overload the pizza with toppings, and used great ingredients. The pepperoni pizza was loaded with it and had a nice spicy/garlicy undertone. As for the drinks, we got a Shirley temple and a Bunny Hop cocktail which hit the right balance of interesting botanicals. We ended the night with a not too sweet but extremely moist chocolate cake and some of the best pistachio gelato we've tried. Not only was the pistachio on top but also mixed into the dessert. It had all the complexities you'd expect. Their bathroom is clean, their art decor is cute, their music taste is nice, and you can see them making the pizzas right there. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely be coming back.

Great pizza with a variety of choices. You can sit inside or outside. Highly recommend sitting on the back patio which is quiet even when super busy.Wheelchair accessibility: Might be a bit tight but there are no stairs to enter.

Had a craving for some quality thin crust pizza on my way home. Arriving around12:30 pm, I sat my okole (Hawaiian pidgin) for b....t down on a bar stool where Dennis was my bartender and server. ordered my usual fennel sausage and sage pie along with one of their two draft beers. Pizza was consistent from past experiences regarding texture, crust and flavors. Dennis provided banter conversation as it was not busy on this midweek day. 5 solid stars all around!

A hidden gem in the neighborhood. Went with a party of 3 adults and 2 kids. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. The space was nice and modern. Would definitely come again - appropriate for a date, family, friends... you name it. I will order some beer on my next visit.

Whoa. No words. WTF? Insanity reigns here. It was my birthday. And I didn't want to go to a fancy schmancy joint. At my 61 yrs age, I like simple explosively robust flavors, not molecular gastronomy :-) I'm done with the fancy pants places. I saw Damn Fine listed as one of the best places for pizza in SF, and boom was there for a dunch/linner (I'm not a brunch person :-) The vibe here is absolutely everything to write home about. When we got there on a Tuesday afternoon, it was about fourth full, I snagged a seat in full frontal sunshine to subject myself to a greenhouse effect. Someone told me that if it got too hot, they could roll down the shade. Brave delusional soul that I am, told him, "no, I'm fine," and a few minutes later, I was not fine. They obligingly rolled down the shades. A huge black/grey pizza oven in the corner, and a relaxed casual vibe. We got soooo much food, a caesar salad with anchovies, a arugula/blood orange/goat cheese salad; green olives with lemon zest; bucatini in a tomato sauce with add on meatballs; a purple potato/pesto/pancetrta pizza and yet another pizza with asparagus/spinach and edible flowers. Plus chocolate cake with fresh whipped cream. Every. Single. Thing. Was perfection. Absolutely bomb, hit out of the park awesome, worthy of clapping and applause. Love love love. The pizzas charred around the crust and toppings sparingly strewn about, with pristine quality ingredients. We didn't specify light cheese, which we usually do every time we get pizza anywhere and not time we go, specifically to get pepperoni and sausage pizzas, we'll be sure to get light cheese. Their salads both of them, were insanely phenomenal. I'm super picky about my caesars and this had the perfect blend of tang and anchovy and cheese. They usually include little gems and kale, but I think kale should be for horses only or cows, and asked them to put only little gems , which they did. That salad was fantastic. The arugula also insane, with tart/sweet oranges and goat cheese .... Did I mention the fresh fennel in it? Yes, fennel with crunch. The green olives with lemon zest and almonds hit the spot. The bucatini, which I'm usually not a huge fan of, preferring spaghetti instead, I was wrong because this was cooked perfectly al dente with the most rich marinara sauce ever, so zesty as they describe it you don't even miss the meat. We added meatballs, which were super moist and meaty with veal and pork and beef, and a good size a generous portion, as with everything on the menu. Their chocolate cake moist with plump raspberries and we asked for whipped cream on the side, which I think you can see is a goodly huge portion. The service we got was so awesome: friendly and on the ball and efficient and warm and accommodating and sweet. ?We had two people helping us out--Ryan is the dude here. He is not phoning it in, with a huge smile on his face, he comes around d for everything, anticipating our needs even before we do, e.g. refilling out water glasses. We asked for them to turn down the music, which they did. There was another guy who was awesome and because I'm hard of hearing, I didn't catch his name. This place is everything positive it's written out to be, and we can't wait to go back. Parking is easy and the prices are more than great, especially for the ingredients, quality of preparation and portion sizes. Love love love and then some!

This restaurant was so wonderful! Great ambiance - I loved the art on the walls - and the food was excellent! I had the sage sausage pizza and my friend had the crab ravioli - we both loved our food! The r&b playing in the background (not too loud!) added to the chill vibe of the place and our wait person was accomodating and attentive without being annoying. Can't wait to go back and try some other dishes!
