Welcomed by a friendly host and seated right away for lunch. We tried several different dishes -- all very different and so tasty. We shared Spicy Cauliflower (and it is spicy!), Daal Bhat, and Butter Chicken, along with regular naan. Plenty of food for 2 adults and a child. Delicious and a great find!

We enjoyed our dinner spent in a lovely atmosphere! The cocktails were good and the food delicious, a bit pricey. We orders almost all their starters and loved the most their momos and the least their fish. We also liked the mains but forgot to take photos of them. The service was ok.

Everything thing at the Dancing Yak was great. My only complaint is that they admitted that they don't look at Open Table reservations or requests. I made a reservation at 8pm and had a request but they never read it. They didn't see our reservation (but did get a table quickly) and my request wasn't even at the very least reviewed and communicated back to me that it wasn't something they do (I asked for a birthday placard at the table). At the end of the night, everything was fine overall. It just would've been nice to know that my request couldn't be accommodated prior to arriving.

We've eaten here maybe 15 times since DY opened. We went yet again last night, a Sunday. And even though Sundays are off-nights, so the front-room staff and the cooks were probably not the A-team, the food was better than it's ever been. We commented afterwards how rare it is that a neighborhood restaurant gets *better* years after opening. We shared, so we got a taste of a lot this time, and even tried some new dishes. The butter chicken was wonderful, darker, richer. The Dhading chicken was a new dish for us, and my wife's and my favorite of the evening. The cashew chicken curry was rich and light and subtle at once. And the eggplant (baigun tarkari) was excellent. Finally (maybe this is a difference between Nepalese and Pakistani styles) the naan was thin and crispy. I'd never had naan like that before, and I loved it.

Goat curry and cheese naan made a great combo, little disappointed they didn’t have cocktails available during lunch but the food more than made up for it.

They have nice atmosphere and food in the downtown San Francisco area. Decent food and good service. Starters were delicious and mocktails were refreshing. They have veg and non veg options. Menu is little bit pricey but considering the place and location it was pretty decent.

The food was good. We got there a little early, so maybe weren't set up quite yet. The decor was great and the food was very decent, but I think the portions were a little small for the price.

Do NOT come here. The owner openly stole us $500. I repeat, DO NOT COME HERE, FOR YOUR OWN SAKE. It should be shut down urgently.
