This place is excellent value for a tasty and filling lunch. Love the hot bar style lunch box, actually feels like a properly balanced meal with couscous/veggies/chicken/lentils for $12 (which for FiDi is as good as it gets). Great rich flavors for the food, especially the chicken.Excited to come back for other meals and menu items.
I had their chicken shawarma - they made it fresh to order and it was delicious! They don't have apple pay and I had not brought my credit card, the owner was so kind and told me I could just come back later today or tomorrow to pay.A great Fi Di lunch spot, highly recommend - seems like it would be great for catered office lunches as well!
Something isn’t right with this place. They change there menu concept over and over and they keep copying there cousins Chez fayola across the street. Why would you offer same thing? It’s pretty bad you would copy your neighbor. Go back to drawing board.
Simple restaurant from a service perspective, but the food is delicious, high quality and unique!
Definitely visit this restaurant if you’re looking for something new in the city
Finally I found the Tunisian spot in sf , Authentic food , today I tried the Famous Couscous and It exceeded my expectation cooked to perfection very rich in spices but not spicy , a good generous portion and they have variety of meat options and vegetarian as well , the place is in the heart of downtown sf so u can’t miss it ,its between pine and Berry ,parking is little hard to find but free after 6pm and has no parking between 4 nd 6 but u can go to public garages or park few blocks down so after you eat all the goodies you will walk few blocks to digest :) i liked the restaurant’s decor with a fusion of traditional Tunisian and the feel of bougie SF, the music also made a very warm Tunisian atmosphere, service was really good and quick and mr Kamal the owner is very friendly and welcoming , will definitely come back to check out the rest of those yammy dishes .*fairly priced*clean restrooms*outdoor dining* Halal meat option* vegetarian options* to go orders* closed SundayNotes : will be nice to have tunisian desserts in the future
Highly enjoyable place. Would love to see more Tunisian art and decor.
Good food, the staff was very professional and caring. The food was delicious and served hot.
love the food and service. i like that Veronica is there and the hospitality shows. she is very kind and often gives us extra goodies. We usually get the eguisi with friend fish ( I ask for the fish on the side because of the bones) the eguisi is perfect and tasty. We also get the pepper soup and it's very delicious. All of the food we've ordered is high quality, fresh, and cooked very yummy.
With Return to Office happening, it was great to try this restaurant! The food and service was fantastic, and I’m looking forward to making this a regular! The Merguez sandwich hit the spot on flavors! Tasty fries, too. Perfect for a team/large group lunch!

Came here for a friend’s birthday dinner and the food was great and very unique. The space was very welcoming and the employees were very friendly and always kept up with our needs
5 stars for food 10 stars for Rafik . Excellent place to eat the real Tunisian food .
Great food and service!
I have been coming here for 3 to 4 years even when it was previously known as lightning cafe. Even after the name change/owner change the selection of food seems to have remained the same. The quality of the food is pretty good but it does get a bit pricey.
