So amazing restaurant, the staff were so friendly and attentive to all our requests. The food was incredibly delicious. We really loved the place
Great food and price. The place itself could use some updating but the food is seriously good!
The best indo-pak food i have had in SF..AmazingHighly recommended if you want to eat something desi, with a desi vibe!
Fantastic little place. Was very quiet when I went but the food was fabulous. The nice gentlemen also let me charge my soon to be dead phone there - lifesaver! Cheap prices for good food. i had the Korma which was out of this world.
Very affordable and quick service. The place is very run down though. The bathrooms were kinda messy and smelly too. The breads were ok and the navratan korma gravy was weird. It made me feel sick afterwards. Maybe it was the masala levels.
We, a family of five, were on a casual trip to San Francisco city. Feeling hungry, we got into this restaurant after seeing a 4.2 rating on Google. It proved to be one of our worst experiences. Immediately upon entering the restaurant, we smelled a stink, probably someone inside or close to the place, must have smoked. There were flies or tiny insects flying around. Two persons were inside the kitchen. One of them showed up only after we made some noise to draw their attention. We ordered two starters and four different curries. The items arrived fairly quickly. None of the curries had any South Indian spices or flavors. They all seem to have been cooked with ketchup as the base. They tasted similar and ordinary. The starters too tasted below average. Only the nan was normal. All in all, the restaurant is not for those who are familiar with Indo-Pakistani cuisine. It might be okay for those who try south Asian cuisine once in a year.
You get what you pay for. Cheap indian food gives you cheap interior decor and poor cleanliness. Food tasted very average as it does at a small indian place. Nothing i had not tasted before with a common tomato gravy. Might be something new for a non-indian who has not had a lot of fancy and expensive indian curries but that was not the case for me.
Great neighborhood gem! Glad they stayed around during Van Ness construction and updated their interior. Great to have them as neighbors. Gladly come back every time I can. Also great for take out.
What a great place for truly appetizing food. And they are hanging in there and need your business so order up - we need them to recover and continue to offer up some of the best food in the hood. Fantastic food all around.
I love this place for it's QUIET elegance and delicious food. It's so hard to find a restaurant that is nice for a date but not trendy and loud. This is one of my husband's and my favorites and I've lived here almost 30 years

The food was delicious we had butter chicken and lamb karahi which was so delicious we requested the naan to b garlic and we all devoured it definetly a place to dine at again
The meat in my plate was raw… this restaurant was a mess
Very kind staff served us dinner near closing time. The butter chicken, garlic naan, and mango Lassi were all excellent.
Tonight i went to restaurant I took 3 items dal was really really bad my husband told me it’s old other food ok service was really really poor
Walked in, excited by the name. The one person in the dining room seemed surprised that we wanted food. Then, dissapeared into the kitchen. It appeared he was the only person working there. He didn't come back for a long time. We left.
