We went in the evening after dancing. Very nice, very cozy, the freshest hot food, the dessert was especially delicious - not cloying like in the supermarket (where they use sugar substitutes), real, cold. Who wants silence and the smell of Indian spices, without pathos and excessive high prices and markups - you are here. paid only $38 Immediately remembered the Goa area ...

This Hyderabad biryani was over $20 and is bland in taste. The egg and onions were worse than an Safeway deli. The southern indians from Hyderabad agreed with my judgement

I ordered takeout from Deccan House on a Tuesday evening and was very pleased! The food was fresh and ready at the appointed time. The keema dosa was nice and spicy and the portion was big enough to enjoy again for lunch the next day. The samosas were crisp and tasty, accompanied by fresh chutneys. I’d gladly return to try more of their dishes.

The interior is simple with cozy booths for dining in. Service was very friendly.

3rd time visiting. One of the most authentic Indian restaurants in the US. Very Tasty Food, generous portions. Sabzi, Naan, Roti, Starters , Biryani all are good. But food was very spicy. Usually indian restaurants in US do not serve this spicy. But if you are okay with spice then great place. Mild spicy is Indian Mild not American Mild

Also good for vegetarians and Spicy lovers.. Liked Hot chilly Nan..!

Update Jan2025: Visited back after 5 years with friends and family. Tried many vegetarian dishes. Baby corn soup, tomato soup, chilli Gobi, chilli Paneer were good, spring rolls seemed to be made feom frozen pack. Asked for spicy malai kofta, but it turned out to be too much spicy, with dominating mirchi powder taste, kofta tasted not bad. Cashew curry was too sweet, dis not taste good. In Channa batura/poori, felt channa masala did not taste fresh made.
Mango lassi was good.
