Showed up at 6:40am to a closed store with no employees in sight. Their website and Google maps state they open at 6:00am on weekdays.

Everything was very good, the service and attention, Farah and Wadah Jose who served and the staff were very friendly. I want to come here again 😛 I came from Turkey and ate Turkish coffee and baklava

The chai, kunafa, break, cake, is all great.
I just wish they find a way to bring the intimate vibe of the cafe. It has become difficult to enjoy/relax amidst commotion.

This is my favorite place in the city! I’ve been coming here since Nov 2023 as a regular. The coffee, vibes, everything has been great but they recently switched their milk cakes which were my favorite way to end the week (saffron was the best). Not a fan of the new milk cakes but the coffee and chai I’ve had is great!

Warm and cozy vibe, but not the kind of spot I'd call romantic. The staff didn’t greet me upon arrival but were attentive once I placed my order. Cleanliness was just okay, but definitely below SF standards.

They offer a variety of baklava and serve both Turkish and Yemeni coffee, which I found interesting. However, when I asked if their baklava contained honey, I was told no. I asked again to confirm, and they insisted it only had sugar syrup, no honey. That’s odd, as honey is traditional in many baklava recipes. Not sure if it’s a regional variation or just misinformation.

Unfortunately, my latte was disappointing. The coffee was over-roasted, leaving it bitter, and the cup wasn’t even filled to the rim. Prices were comparable to SF, but the quality didn’t match up.
