Very popular place. Long queue around lunch time. I got the 2 sides and 1 main. It's a bit of a rush to order, so couldn't take the time to see what the options were properly. One of my salads I really didn't like. But the aubergine salad & the tofu steak were great! Very vegan friendly.
The shrimp cake with house-made tartar sauce was delicious and fresh! They have many great options to grab for a picnic.

So I have been one of the few customers that has been coming to Delica since it opened pre pandemic. Unfortunately I haven’t come in for the last 12 months. Today was the day I went in for nostalgia because I really love the beef curry. Unfortunately it was not what I had expected or hoped. I spent almost $18 after taxes and $20+ after tips for just a beef curry with no sides. What I hoped for was beef in my curry and what I got was just potatoes in my curry. If I wanted was potato curry with 2 small pieces of beef for $20 then I would’ve gotten what I ordered. But unfortunately I ordered beef curry and it was not it. It was tasty like I’ve always expected it to be, but I don’t think $20 for negligible protein is the way to go. I’m sorry but do better.
Had the salmon sushi roll. It was sad. Instead of putting salmon into the roll, they put the leftover litte pieces of salmon on top of the sushi. Pretty disappointed. 15 bucks

I bought 2 avocado rolls for $17.38 and it was pretty good. The service was good, they were fast and nice. The place looked nice and overall it’s pretty good.

The bento was really good. The vegetables were fresh and seasoned delicately. It was just like ones from a delicatessen at a department store in Japan.
Food is delicious: I ordered the soup, dumplings and green beans salad (best I ever had). Sad that they do not have dedicated sitting area but I was lucky to found a free table nearby. Service was ok. Will recommend for the yummy food for sure!
I used to enjoy the eggplant miso salad here, but this time the eggplant was served in large, hard pieces and wasn’t cooked properly. When I mentioned it to the staff, the response was simply, “We fry the eggplant,” which felt dismissive and unhelpful.
Delicious!
easy lunch spot in the area

Great range of food. theres something for everyone. SF lunch is super expensive, but delica is my go to because you can get a lot of food under 8$ from their food bar. white rice, sweet and sour chicken, pork cutlet, rice balls, all 3$ each. highly recommend. opens at 930 too!
