We had an excellent experience at Destapas. The tapas were amazing and we also enjoyed sangria and wine to accompany the dishes. The ambiance and service were excellent. We had a lovely evening and hope to return.

Our favorite restaurant in the city! We drive every two or three weeks from Sausalito just to have dinner at Destapas — that's how much we love it. The service is always amazing, the staff is super friendly, and the food and drinks are absolutely delicious. My husband and I even joke that it's our second home. Highly recommended!

Was craving Spanish food and decided to try this spot since it's super close to where we were hanging out. I really loved the cozy ambience and their wine selection was great! The waiters were super nice and attentive, which made the experience even better. Food-wise, it was okay — not bad at all, but there are definitely better Spanish spots out there. The portions are pretty big though, so we couldn't finish everything or save room for dessert. I'd still want to come back to try more dishes, especially their desserts next time!

Great place to share a paella, the paella is indeed for 2 people. I recommend trying the devil egg appetizer. Would not order the arugula salad again, it was fine but just expensive for arugula.As for specials, they had a great flan but the Basque cheesecake was amazing

We came a bit early so we were there only ones on the patio, which was nice but also was hard to get a feeling for what it's like when busy. I wish we were hungrier to try more plates. We had the chicken paella and some veggie sides. All were excellent 👌 Service was good as well.

The wine and cocktail program is great: our server was able to guide us to the kinds of drinks which matched our vibe for the evening. The server paced our dishes in away which allowed us to enjoy a few dishes at a time without crowding the table.

The owners are genuine and friendly. As a lover of authentic Valenciana Paella, Destapas definitely hits the mark. Their tapas are delicious and the seafood Paella is fresh with plenty of crispy rice. Their tapas deserts were delicious with the cheesecake and Almond Tarte being our favorites. We will definitely return to Destapas! Highly recommend!

This was an incredible meal. We got the pan con tomate which was incredible for such a simple dish. The charcuterie board was good as well. My favorite dish was the paella, it was well balanced, they were very generous with the shellfish and meat. I would also recommend the octopus and the prawns. There was nothing disappointing about the food, which was really good, the waiters were really nice.🙂
