Paellas
Paella Valenciana
Traditional chicken and vegetable paella. Originated in the countryside in Spain incorporates deep earthy flavors, sofrito base and boneless chicken breast, and thighs along with green beans, grilled artichoke hearts, green asparagus, great northern beans, and our 12-hour chicken broth. Our paellas are cooked with extra virgin olive oil, real saffron, Spanish Bomba rice, are gluten-free, and contain no peanuts or nuts. Since we cook the paellas in large orders, the socarrat toasty bottom rice might not be guaranteed in individual orders.
Paella de marisco
In our take of the Seafood paella, we incorporate fresh, local, and sustainable seafood: squids, clams, mussels, prawns, and monkfish. A base of sofrito cooked with sautéed onions and bell peppers, green beans, garlic, and fresh tomato, and finished with Bomba rice, saffron threads, and our house seafood broth cooked with fish bones, prawn heads, vegetables, and fresh herbs. Our paellas are cooked with extra virgin olive oil, real saffron, are gluten-free, and contain no peanuts or nuts. Since we cook the paellas in large orders, the socarrat toasty bottom rice might not be guaranteed in individual orders.
Paella de verduras
Our vegetarian paella incorporates lots of seasonal local vegetables and legumes with a base of all-year-round ones. Artichokes, green asparagus, zucchini, shiitake mushrooms, green beans, great northern beans, garbanzo beans, chickpeas, green onions, spinach, and cauliflower rotate seasonally, while our base sofrito remains steady: sautéed onions, green and red bell peppers, ñora peppers, fresh garlic, and fresh tomatoes, all slow-cooked and later reduced to boost flavor. Our flavorful vegetable broth brings another injection of flavor to round a healthy yet delicious meal. Our paellas are cooked with extra virgin olive oil, real saffron, Spanish Bomba rice, are gluten-free, and contain no peanuts or nuts. Bocata De Escalivada
Roasted bell peppers, caramelized onions, and charred eggplant with romesco sauce. Served on a toasted baguette.
Bocata de Jamon con Tomate
Spanish cured serrano ham. Fresh tomato, garlic, parsley, extra virgin olive oil. Served on baguette.
Bocata Serranito
Grilled pork tenderloin, fried green peppers, 15 months aged Serrano ham, fresh ground tomato, extra virgin olive oil. Served on baguette.
Bocata Tortilla Española
Spanish omelet with confit potato and caramelized onion. Served with roasted green peppers and spicy aioli on the side. Served on a baguette.
Calamari sandwich
Fried calamari, tartar sauce, baguette.

Basque-style lemon burnt cheesecake.

Spanish flan made out of creamy and dense vanilla citrusy custard, and topped with a caramel sauce .

Tapas
Piquillos rellenos de bacalao
Single order (3 Peppers). Piquilo peppers filled with salted cod, onions and peppers, served with a tomato-pepper- brandy sauce.
Croquetas de jamon
Single order (3 croquettes). Ingredients include Serrano ham, Chicken breast, sautéed onions, crimini mushrooms, cooked into a roux adding flour, milk and house chicken, and ham broth. A touch of nutmeg whisked for ages, achieving a super creamy and crunchy croquettes that melt to the bite.
Patatas bravas
Creamy and crunchy Yukon potatoes, confit and flashed fried. Served with our house tomato-peppers fiery "Brava sauce", and topped with Smoked paprika Chili oil.
Albondigas al jerez y azafran
Beef and pork meatballs with ground manchego cheese braised in Spanish sherry, saffron and fresh tomato sauce. Topped with a fried almond-confit garlic-bread picada. Order include 5 meatballs, Yukon fries and toasted baguette.
Empanadillas de gambas
Single order (3 Empanadillas). Mini empanadas, filled with shrimp and sofrito with chopped egg.
Empanadillas de pisto
Single order (3 Empanadillas). Slow cooked veggie stew with onions, peppers, zucchini, fresh tomato and quail egg.

Super cute and cozy vibe both inside and on the master patio. Great service every time. Great variety of small plates and paella. Nice portion sizes. Everything we had gotten is good. Tons of gluten free options and the menu is marked.

Great Spanish restaurant! We had an amazing seafood paella, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, we didn’t even have time to take a picture — it was gone too fast!

We also enjoyed a sangria, which paired perfectly with the meal. The total was around $60 for two people, very fair for the quality. Definitely recommended!

Always have a wonderful experince at Destapas. The food is fantastic and the staff is all so warm and welcoming. It is one of my favorite places to dine. The staff is lovely and you can tell they enjoy working there. Always a lovely experience.
