I got really sick for months after eating a cookie here. I later saw the news report of rodents. I hope its cleaner now that they re-opened.

Cash only!!! Cute little bakery pushing out impressive pastries. The chocolate chip cookie was moist, an appropriate size, and most importantly ~ delicious! Friendly staff, will be back

Lovely friendly staff. Delicious pastries my personal favorite they’re ham& cheese croissants! I have driven from Vacaville just for some nectarine cherry pie!!!! Initially wrote this review 2021 Update June 2025 stopped by with my family on the way to the zoo & grabbed bunch of pastries, just as good as I remembered them 😁

So glad they’ve reopened! I love my neighborhood bakery. Great stuff and reasonable prices. Their Dutch apple pie is my favorite apple pie anywhere. Great crust (no soggy bottom), firm tart apples, and yummy crumb topping. If you can’t handle a whole pie, the apple streusel tartlet (even though quite different) is a great sub. It has short crust with a little cornmeal to give it a nice texture. I also like the quiches, apricot danish, blueberry muffin, scones…

The most authentic French bakery in the Bay Area. This is what French croissants and tarts taste like. It has always been a clean and respectable place when I have visited every week so lucky is in my neighborhood. I hope they reopen soon. This business takes their baking and service seriously.

Hope they reopen soon. Good tarts and a perfectly classic croissant — in my opinion the best in SF. Feels like France.

Rats infested! So disgusting how many people have been eating contaminated food?!

The scones were good and reasonably priced at $3.50. The vibe inside is sad and the pastries look tired and not appetizing. The service was perfunctory and the women barely acknowledged us. Bakeries are usually happy and bustling places but this was not.

A hidden Gem. A very endearing bakery with excellent pastries, quiches and bread baked on premises.
The pastries are of such great quality in a shop that looks past it’s former glory. But it’s what gives it it’s wonderful Aura. It holds so many stories in its walls.

Everything is great here, but the lady in the front seems unsanitary. She used her a paper but mostly her hand to touch the pastry she grabbed for me. Guess I’ll bring my pastry home to toast ?

They have a lovely selection of various savory and sweet pastries including empanadas, quiches, tarlets, cookies, and more. I had the Banana Cream Tarlet and the Empanada Del Horno filled with beef, olive, and egg and it was delish! Super nice folks, fair prices, great vibes in a quiet neighborhood spot. Definitely coming back to try more of their goodies!
