While visiting SF, I researched places to get a great breakfast sandwich and many recommended Devil's Teeth - they were not wrong! I got the special breakfast sandwich - a little expensive, but it was fantastic. The biscuit was the star - buttery, flaky, savory; the salty bacon and the pepper jack cheese were a great contrast, and then the lemon aioli was a great binder to bring it together. I got a side of hot sauce and added a little - a great compliment and contrast to the sandwich, but it's great without this as well. It comes with 2 eggs and plenty of bacon, very filling.
I also got a bacon cheddar beer muffin to go because it was unique - a very interesting, savory muffin, great flavor, not dry.
There is no dine-in option and no tables, so be ready to eat on the go or find a spot. I would highly recommend finding a spot - the sandwich can get messy.
I would highly recommend Devil's Teeth for the breakfast sandwich!

I've been to this location twice now as of today.
both times I've ordered the bowl of eggs. the 1st time I got she'll in my eggs & today the eggs were so salty that they were bitter metallic awful.
there's no ph# for the Embarcadero location &
NO ONE ANSWERS THE phone @ Noriega store.
now I've paid $12 for eggs that can't be eaten.
I've never had these issues at the Noriega store.
also they do not offer pepper. they only have pepper and salt mixture.
a store should have phone contact & actually answer the phone.

The biscuit was moist and fresh, tasty sausage… their homemade hot sauce brought everything together!

This place is so frustrating. I wrote a 2-star review in the past because of their anti-customer behavior, but I removed it. But now it's just happens too often to remain silent. They've told me on multiple occasions they close the kitchen at 1:50 pm, and today I got here at 1:44 pm to make sure they were still serving sandwiches. I was turned away with a passive aggressive "we'll be open at 7am tomorrow." And a dishonest "we usually stop the kitchen around this time." They didn't want to serve a paying customer because they want to take the lazy way out.
I get it as I also like being lazy sometimes, but it's simply not acceptable behavior for a company whose sole purpose is to serve food to paying customers.

Get the cinnamon roll. Or the earl grey pistachio bread. Or the breakfast sandwhich. Or all of the above. And browse the books at green apple, there are just a few, but it's a nice browse.

Beignets on Sunday are worth making a trip there for. They also have good breakfast items as well. Takeout only, but you can sit in the Embarcadero mall seating.

Debatably the best breakfast biscuit sandwich in SF. Looks small but surprisingly filling and the special sauce is a worthwhile upgrade. Excellent grab-n-go breakfast in the Fidi.

Make sure you call ahead and ask if they’re taking ChowNow orders. I arrived and they didn’t even realize the ChowNow tablet was dead. I told them what the order was and they proceeded to cancel my order without saying anything while I waited outside. Maybe they thought I was leaving in frustration, but I just didn’t want to wait in the tiny inside area already full of people.
I’d rank the Outer Richmond location #1, Sunset #2, Embarcadero #3.

“I go there for the books”
I’m ashamed… I ate the whole thing…. I feel like a lonely woman walking the street looking for the firemen to fling herself at… does food make you aroused?
Sinnamon Roll… I think you catch my meaning.
I couldn’t stop eating, mouthful after mouthful, I barely stopped to breathe…. I somehow walked with the kettle bell weight pastry in my hand half way around the block before I had to stop and wonder where I was… Bliss
