Would highly recommend this fairly new establishment. The service is great, drinks were really good with a good selection. Fish and chips were among the best you can get in NorCal, proper chips! The tikka masala pie was fantastic, and the first time I had lions mane mushroom. I will definitely be back.

Dingles was such a pleasant surprise. One of those places I would absolutely go out of my way for.
The space is beautiful. Dimly lit, cozy, and really chic. It is tucked inside the hotel by the opera and feels perfect for a date night or a long dinner with friends before a show.
We ordered a pretty insane spread and every single thing was good. The scotch eggs had that perfect jammy center and really flavorful sausage. The Welsh rarebit was rich and comforting with deep cheddar flavor. But the sausage roll completely stole the show. The pastry was insanely flaky and the filling was juicy and savory. One of those bites where everyone at the table pauses for a second.
The mains were just as strong. The beef and Guinness pie was surprisingly delicious, especially with the bone marrow which added this amazing fatty richness and depth. The burger was exactly what you want from a great burger. Juicy, simple, and perfectly done. The fish and chips were excellent too, super crispy batter with malt vinegar on the side which made it even better. And the chicken Kyiv was fantastic. Really tender with garlic parsley butter running through it.
We finished with both desserts and they were worth it. The sticky toffee pudding with brown butter ice cream was warm, rich, and exactly what you hope for.
Also worth knowing they do a proper Sunday roast which I now very much want to come back for. I’ve also heard Wednesdays are their pie night, which honestly sounds like the perfect excuse to return. Definitely add this to your list.

Hands-down absolute *BEST* fries ever: served hot and perfectly crisp along the edges with a soft potato-ey interior; unbelievably light, airy and balanced in texture, yet full of flavor & just so extremely yummy. The burger was delicious - topped with nutty caramelized onions and served on a fresh & toasty griddled brioche-like bun. Great value. Ideal spot to grab a refined casual dinner before the opera or symphony -- efficient workflow, quick yet also super friendly, family-like attentive service -- located across the street from the opera house and 1 1/2 blocks from Davies Symphony Hall adjacent to the Performing Arts Parking Garage. Will return to try other menu items when in the city for another performance. Charming elegant yet lowkey lively bar vibes too -- cozy modern pub ambiance where everyone (patrons & staff) seem to be enjoying the atmosphere at the pulse of the city's music and arts scene.

Went for Sunday Roast and loved it, absolutely decadent. The Breakfast Martini was so yummy and then we split a Sausage Roll to start and then both the Roast Beef and Pork Belly. Finished off with the Sticky Toffee Pudding! Definitely one of the $$$ lunches in the city, but totally worth it! We are excited to go back for dinner!

Solid Sunday roast, a tad bit pricey but that’s expected.
Portion is not as small some other reviews said, but I did order the bread.
Great service and cozy atmosphere. Very European vibe, low volume level, will be back.

Small quaint Irish style restaurant located in a hotel. Great energy, not too crowded, staff helpful, unique take on Irish dishes, fun drink menu for those Gin drinkers. Wait for the bar seats… worth it. Best fish n chips I have had in a long time. Would recommend.

A single piece of fish for 36 dollars, an incredibly small pie for 36. The food is good, the portion size does not make sense for the price that is being charged.
Dingles (lol) is terrible value and I say this as someone that is getting omakase sushi every two days

The Dingles is a place that I would definitely recommend. The food and drinks were amazing. We had the scotch egg as an appetizer and the fish and chips as the main entree. Both were delicious, but we saved room for the dessert and we were not disappointed. I can’t wait to come back.

Sat at the bar, got the Scottish eggs, steak, toffee pudding, and drinks. Katie took great care of us at the bar. Hotel restaurant but would recommend.

Expensive but really good. The portions are small but we were stuffed my the time we left.
The Sunday roast is $58 for the beef for $26 for the cabbage and have the same sides for each entree. We got one of each and enjoyed them both. The cabbage was actually very tender and flavorful. The cauliflower cheese was also great. And the burger was very flavorful.
For apps the scotch egg, sausage roll and welshrarebit were all phenomenal but lean on the expensive side for the portion.
All in all a really solid meal, and while expensive it is cheaper than a trip to London.
