Fun neighborhood bar with a good atmosphere and friendly service. Amy was great and we loved chatting with her. Cool old bar with a lot of charm. We hung out here for a couple hours and played pinball and really enjoyed ourselves. We will be back for sure!

I was leaving the movie theater nearby and planning to walk home but wasnāt feeling well, so I stopped at Docās Clock to sit on a chair outside and order my uber. I was sitting aloneāno other patrons outsideāfor no more than 60 seconds when the bartender came outside with a smug look on his face and just pointed to the street like I was a damn dog that needed to āgit.ā I told him I was just waiting for my car which would be there any second. Again he just gestured at the street and said āI didnāt see you come in the bar.ā I said my car would be here any second, and asked if I could just wait there. He told me to stand on the street once more and said āYou look young and healthy.ā Which is ironic because I literally have an autonomic disorderāand itās because of this disability that I chose to sit down instead of stand while I waited for my car. Per his instruction, I left. My car pulled up 60 seconds laterā¦ Would it have killed you to let me sit for a moment? I wasnāt bothering anyone. It was a slow Tuesday night. Where is your humanity? Do better. It costs you nothing to be kind for 60 seconds of your life.

As great of a bar as ever. I left SF in 2011 and worried there wouldn't be great bars still left but Doc's Clock still has the perfect old school dive bar feeling. Not too packed and all sorts of folks at the bar and playing shuffle puck.
