Cozy Mexican eatery with great food, professional service, impressive plating presentations, and BIG margaritas. I grew up in Texas and this place reminds me of a legit Mexican restaurant there. Feels like a warm, family-run business--because it is.
Restaurant: Cool neighborhood, under the radar, kinda place. It looks fairly unassuming from the outside, but it is very large inside. It was not very busy when I went (Tuesday evening) and from what's posted on the door, they are only open 4PM-8PM. Drinks: I had some sort of jalapeño margarita and it was very tasty. Came here with a friend who's been a regular since he was a kid and they hooked our table up with a free taquitos and a free quesadilla! This family owned business has been here for a while, and their food is delicious. I ordered the Don Ramon burrito with chicken and it came with their delicious Spanish rice, guac, salsa, and their mole sauce. So delicious and price wise not too shabby, the whole meal was pretty affordable for SF.
