This restaurant seems to have had some trouble in the past with labeling vegetarian items and it still appears to be an issue for some items.I got a mapo tofu with the vegetarian house sauce which is clearly labeled as vegetarian in the menu. I also decided to upgrade my meal to a combo which included miso soup or salad and a selection of two sides. I picked the miso soup, kimchi, and extra rice. All of these items were labeled as vegetarian on their menu.I always examine my food...
Great shop if your in the mood for a Donburi. You grab any bowl and make a combo with either soup or salad and 2 additional options. I got the Pork cartilage, salad, soy sauce egg and potato salad. Overall I thought it was tasty. Would go again.
Nice relaxed lunch place, with rice bowls and decent Japanese carbonated apple juice. There was a mesmerizing silent video playing on one TV of some sort of Korean pastry being made -- it was mouth-watering to watch and a little disappointing they didn't seem to sell it in the store.Oh, and the light switch in the bathroom encourages you to turn it off with a sign that says "Please de-light me." You've gotta reward that.
