Cute place and great location. Service was nice but felt really rushed. Salad was good but pizza was disappointing - it was cold and mushy in the middle - despite arriving to table before we were even finished with the salad. Plates cleared before you put your fork down kind of deal. It's a good spot to eat before a show and Id be curious to try other menu items.
Favorite lunch place. If you like chewy pizza crust, the neopolitan pizza is always solid. The little gem salad, frito misto and oxtail pasta are winners. This particular pasta has been improved with a very chewy al dente pasta and it's so good
Good choice for pre-symphony dining. Not fancy, but food and service were both above our expectations.
I don't have pizza hardly at all these days. But I had a hankering for it last night. My dinner guest had the half roasted chicken . We both devoured our meals with delight, washing them down with a couple of glasses of wine and dessert. The host was wonderful, the wine was good, the food good. I am a frequent flyer with Doppio Zero and will return there as I have over the years.
Great spot for pre-performance dinner. Staff was helpful, pleasant and respectful of our limited time with them. Entrees were delicious and overall healthful.
Our first time at this restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. It was also very convenient to the Sydney Goldstein Theater where we were headed later that evening. Highly recommend.
Loved the food and the convenience. It was an easy walk to Symphony Hall for the concert. But it was so noisy, that it was impossible to carry on a conversation.
I only went there for lunch before and yesterday was my first time going there for a dinner. Lunch was very chill and good service, but dinner time it was very crowded and super loud, so maybe it's not good for client dinner or family dinner. The food was amazing as always though! I think it's one of the best pizzas in SF
We have eaten at this restaurant several times and everything was excellent. Unfortunately, last Sunday that was not the case. The pizza was just fair and it seemed perhaps not cooked long enough as it was not crisp but really not piping hot. We will give another try at a later date and hope to find that was an isolated expereince.
We enjoyed our dinner prior to attending the Opera - the food was delicious and the atmosphere was convivial. We had requested an outside table after reading the reviews of how loud it could be inside, and were glad we did. The waitstaff were friendly and good but the restaurant was understaffed to meet that pre-performance hour, as it took a while to get attention. It was so fun to have a wonderful dinner amidst the happy energy of all those enjoying their Saturday evening in the Civic Center area with all its offerings. San Francisco is definitely getting its groove back! Thank you to the Mayor and everyone, including establishments like Doppio Zero, who is a part of that.

We were able to enjoy Happy Hour which featured a great menu and nice discounts. Everything tasted great and was delivered promptly.
We had the special--grilled pork chop--which was OK. The noise level was deafening. We don't plan to return because of that.
We love this restaurant and come often. It was quite busy this time and we felt a bit crowded and the server was harder to track down this time, but we still love it!
We felt totally rushed, got our appetizer salad, while eating it, the main courses were delivered! Not cool, it was our go to place before Jazz Concerts, but no more.
Restaurant is very loud. Difficult to converse. The food was just ok. Pizza very little flavor. Fig appetizer over cooked. Service was excellent. Convenient to music venues.
