I live in rural Texas and finding a premium ice cream can be hard. Found this originally on Amazon and enjoyed the classic pack so much I went straight to them. Being in Texas gives me a very limited time to order but the family enjoys it while we can. The Christmas sampler was really fun and tasty not the same old thing. Out of everything we've tried nothing has been bad; although we do have favorites. My husband's favorite is the ultimate chocolate and I enjoy the mint chip and raspberry chocolate. Shipping can be worrisome. Being at the mercy of the shipping companies and the weather can be stressful as this isn't cheap but the one time there was a glitch with an address- double rainbow fixed it as soon as I notified them. Quick, easy and no stress. I honestly couldn't be happier with the ice cream or the service.

This review is for their advent calendar! What a great way to count down the days with a new flavor every day. The best part is that the flavors ARE NOT simple and plain. They don't cheap out like one day is just chocolate and one day is plain vanilla... you'll get specialty flavors like winter mint chip, sundae, maple syrup, cherry chocolate just to name a few. THEIR FLAVORS WERE AMAZING and got us through the holiday cheer. Highly recommend!

Good service and the good flavors. We especially loved the Rainbow sherbert and lemon sorbet flavors. I also bought a chocolate pint, but though it is good, it tastes oddly similar to Straus' organic chocolate ice cream without being organic but costing double the price. Still nice to have around, though. Plus, it reminds me of my childhood!

Never go to Double Rainbow for a good ending to your night. I have been disappointed every time. For example, tonight - I saw a pint flavor called Golden Gate Carmel Swirl... I thought caramel... That sounds lovely... When I got home I opened it up to see that it was basically chocolate ice cream with no caramel in sight!

You scream, ICE CreamStopped in for an afternoon treat. Small and quaint right in the Castro strip. Employee helped me with a tasting and I Went with the Pumpkin ice cream and it was Devine. Not too sweet, but full of the pumpkin spice we all love. Highly recommend when you are in town and craving a sweet item.

Don't know why this place is so underrated especially if it's originally from San Francisco. I got the sea salt caramel frozen custard and thought omg this is sooo good. Rich and creamy and just delicious.

This place is fabulous. I don't know why I missed it . It was my first time here . Having hard time to find a parking spot as you can imagine how is the parking available In Castro. The shop is really tiny and cute with a very cute outside sitting area. There were 2 young gentlemen working there . They were so sweet, professional, welcoming. I loved their customer service. They have really good price too . They don't have lots of varieties but whatever they have seems delicious. I ordered 2 scoops, coffee and chocolate and it was really really good . I will go again to try their other flavors.

Double Rainbow is as awesome as it sounds. Their staff is super helpful and friendly. There was a decent selection of flavors available. Call them if Yelp says it's closed, during the week. It might not be accurate like when we went. I love their logo and their vibe. Check them out if you're in the area and looking for a sweet treat.
