Understaffed.
Ok but mediocre place, nice service, mediocre food, They have an extensive list of unique cocktails I didn't try. An ok option for when you have an event/movie close by. The gyu don was very cartilage heavy, but flavors were ok. The sushi and omakase were meh, with the sushi falling apart as we ate. Stick with appetizers like the tsukune and wings.

Cool atmosphere, but food was just okay.
Highlights were the zucchini skewers, shrimp skewers, and veggie tempura.
Lowlights were the beef tongue skewers and the ramen egg (overcooked).
Not sure how the sushi was.
Pricing was reasonable for being in San Francisco.

Ramen was acceptable.
Soft shell crab was pretty good, made up for ramen.
Roll was pretty good.
Drinks were good.
Overall, good.

Excellent spot as the decor, drinks, food selection were quite impressive!! Will definitely go back again and then stay for the Karaoke !
We were excited to try this place and hang out. We got a cocktail from the menu and noticed the bartender was using Evan Williams whiskey for cocktails that clearly said whiskey Markers or Angels Envy, which is 2x the cost of Evan.
We asked him about it and he said oh that's out of date. Got very defensive immediately and then aggressively snatched my drink from me to remake it without me being able to respond to his question about remaking it.
We asked him to not be this aggressive we are simply trying to have a conversation, but he was having a bad night or something.
Either way the whole situation felt very slimy. I hope this is not standard business practice to cut corners and skimp customers, but it sure felt that way based on how he reacted.
It killed the vibe so we left and saved the night at Tempest down the street!

The food was delicious, especially the veggie dumplings and the vegetable dragon roll. And our server was incredibly nice! Also, the cute fish cup they served us in was for sale, so of course I had to buy it. Overall a great gem in the city.

This was my first time at this restaurant—I chose it mainly for its location near the venues we were heading to afterward, and I'm so glad I did! The food was amazing—every piece of sushi was fresh and absolutely delicious. The cocktails were creative and tasted fantastic. While the service was a bit slow (it seemed they might have been understaffed for a Saturday night), our server was very kind and told us about their cocktail omakase, which I definitely want to come back and try!

Super sushi with creative rolls! Our group of four tried a wide array of the menu and thought everything was fantastic. Great local spot you should hit!

Good atmosphere and cocktails. Food were below average for what you paid for. I was not a big fan of the sushi.

Stopped in for a late-night bite after a Giants game. We ordered the chicken wings and a spider roll. The food came out quickly and was solid. Service was warm and welcoming.

We ordered the Hamaji yellowtail sashimi, karaage chicken and the bulgogi beef. Additionally, after seeing all the great reviews on the cocktails, we also ordered one. Can say that the cocktail did not disappoint. The food was also good
