The three mushroom and tofu dish was bland. The tofu was silky but flavorless.
However, my friends loved their general chicken and other food.

Unfortunately our experience was not good for dinner. We have been coming here for a long time and were so looking forward to it. But they have serious issues.
The service was erratic. The restaurant wasn't busy but it took way too long for someone to take our order. There was a young male server who obviously did not want to be there and walked around like a zombie. There was an older lady who was very nice, but she was absent most of our meal.
Our dishes came out in a random order and they even forgot several dishes. This made for a terrible experience.
Then the food was not good. The quality and portion size was subpar for the prices. Honestly, the portions were visibly smaller! .
The entrées was had were bland. The vegetables were undercooked.
I was so disappointed. This place used to be known for its Hakkian cuisine, the few in the Richmond. But now, it's fallen off and I can't recommend it anymore. This is one of the more painful reviews I've had to give. Hopefully they improve. But until then, we will take our business elsewhere.

Food is delicious and service is great. The menu is huge so plenty of choices, how chef handle that is a myth! The cuisine is close to cantonese style with other dishes added to diversify tastes, will come back again!

Safe location and genuine Cantonese cooking. Ordered the lamb stew and dried tofu skin clay pot and tasted just like the way my mom would make it. Stirred fried vegetables were good.
Great family style restaurant. Super friendly.

Huge menu, big portions, reasonable prices, and the food is great. I've found it hard to find good salt-and-pepper tofu in the Bay Area so it was great to find that this place makes it very well. The tea they served was also a good one, a jasmine oolong
The one flaw I'll point out is that the dishes came pretty far apart time-wise. The first two were pretty fast and then the last two came out way later, after we had finished the first two
Overall, the menu, portions, prices, and food quality warrant 5 stars

Winnie is manager, waitress and server. I have seen her single handedly take care of a rush of customers at dine-in tables, take-outs and door-dash orders at the same time.
Our favorite dish is 'chicken and salted fish fried rice' which is not in this survey.

This is the best tasting food ever, I didn't have a lot of Chinese restaurants but nothing compares to this. I strongly recommend you put this on your must see list for S. F. Winnie the owner is fantastic.
