Screw you Drake's. $17 for a single beer. Guess what I'm not buying your beer anymore. Ever. Airport or not. You suck.

It's always a challenge for me to find decent airport food at a reasonable price. I really scored by choosing Drakes's Brewing Company at SFO Terminal 1. We're talking pizza, salads, sandwiches and breakfast choices. I ordered the Classic stone-fired pizza ($18) with pepperoni (+$3.50). Without exaggeration I can say it was very filling and as good a pizza as I could ever hope for. The crust was thin and crusty. Cheese was mozzarella with Pecorino Romano and a sprinkle of oregano. The pepperoni was an add-on for $3.50 and worth it. Scrumptious. I think 2 people might be happy sharing a pizza. It's good sized. The coffee was not too bad either. Better than most restaurant swill. My server was attentive and pleasant. Located between gates B19-20 and B26-27 in Terminal 1.

I am on business travel. It is 11:30pm and I am waiting for for a 12:35 flight. You guys close at 11:15. 11:20, the manager was sweeping the floor "into" customers to get them out ( I am assuming). What happened to customer service? Why do people get wound up? Because corporations have given up on training staff on good service. Man was I pissed. Guys, many people fly a reddys have spent a day or days, away from home, this their last memory of CA, way to disappoint. Hands down this is a training issue. Fix it. You staff sucks.

It was time to eat and Drake’s was the choice. Not that there are a lot of choices?. I am a chicken sandwich connoisseur so gave theirs a try. The chicken was thin, no special flavor, but filling. The bread was good. Please note their pickles are sweet, not the way I prefer, but tasty nonetheless. It hurts to pay $22 for a sandwich and chips, but hey - it’s San Francisco where everything is overcharged

A restaurant, a bar, which happened to be near my gate, it was the only place that seemed reasonable to eat and pass the time before a night flight to New York of American Airlines, which does not serve food on this flight. I ordered a pizza which was reasonable plus, not cheap but at a reasonable price relative to the fact that I don't have many other choices.

The burger was a slurpy burpy butt dog, the fries were flavorless and the potato chips were antique. Even Wer said so the server's response was what you'd expect from a fellow commute ein you'd just told, "I'm not fond of raisins." Get chicken adobo from Mama Go's Filipino place across the way.

What a disappointing visit. The manager decided to close the kitchen and location early. While my server was helpful, understanding, and incredibly kind, the manager was clearly in a rush to leave. He didn't seem to want to be bothered by a nearly full restaurant and was more interested in turning parties away and cleaning around customers trying to finish up - all before the location actually closed.

Good place to get some breakfast and some local brew beer from San Leandro, before your flight. I got their basic breakfast that came with hash browns, scramble eggs and your choice of bacon or applewood sausage. It’s good for some airport food the plus side it’s a full bar and served local beers. It a must stop if you are visiting
Typical overpriced airport food with added surcharges.

1. Best beer at SFO.2. Food is good, expensive but typical for a major airport.3. Adequate seating at bar and tables most travel times.4. Right at AAL gates so you can sit until boarding. SWA also close.

This restaurant has decent chairs and sufficient power outlets, some (but not all!) of which work. That's about all the positives I have for the place. Food took forever and was shockingly expensive for being low quality bar food. Service was slow despite the place being mostly empty.
