One of our local favorites for dim sum specialties. The dumplings are, of course, the star attraction, but I also really enjoy the wonton soup, garlic green beans, and fried chicken wings. Also very kid friendly, my toddler loves going here and watching the Chinese cooking show they have playing on the TVs.
If you're around for the lunch special (dine in only), it's also a great deal!

Only the Dan Dan noodle was good.
Dumpling is better at all other dumpling time and dumpling kitchen chains. Do not order the shrimp scallop mostly Flour and no shrimp taste the scallop is also the one that's supposed to be dried for rice dish. The specialty Fried dumpling also too dry. All just too thick and dry. They also do not care about quality when I reported the shrimp. Other chain that has similar good quality Hayes, Fillmore, Noe (nearest to this Castro) and the Design district. Not comfy people too loud. Other Chain also lots of people and loud but within social standard

Our experience at this dumpling house was a mix of practical positives and some notable drawbacks.
On the plus side, the dumplings are decent, and the prices are fair. The steady stream of delivery drivers in motorcycle helmets suggests its main business is takeout. For walk-in customers like us, this meant there was no wait and plenty of available seating, which was a convenience.
However, the physical space could use some attention; it felt a bit shabby and worn. A more significant issue for us was the menu's lack of vegetarian main courses. Aside from a few appetizers, there were very limited options for anyone in our party who was vegetarian, making it a difficult choice for a group with mixed dietary needs.
In summary, this is a functional spot for a quick, affordable meal of decent dumplings, especially if you're dining in and want to avoid a wait. However, the shabby interior and the near-total lack of vegetarian entrees make it difficult to recommend for group dining or for those seeking a more polished experience.

Came back after a few years and the food still amazing. The best dumpling I have had.
Had to wait around 25 min for a table but it was worth it.

Good dumplings and shumai but the honk Kong wonton with noodles was super bland how it’s served. Just an fyi. Other than that great food.
Ive only ever done to-go from this restaurant but it is my current favorite dumpling place in the city. Especially love their fried pork bao are so juicy and delicious and I have to order them every time.

I saw this spot on TikTok and made the drive into the city to try it out; what a disappointment. At prime lunch hour, we were the only ones seated, which should have been the first red flag.
Service was attentive and friendly, but unfortunately the food just didn’t deliver. We ordered the pan-fried dumplings, pork xiao long bao, shrimp gyozas, and scallion pancakes. All of it was just…meh. I’ve had far better at dumpling restaurants in the East Bay for a fraction of the effort.
Overall, not worth the hype or the drive.

Veggie potstickers and scallion pancakes were too oily :/ scallion pancakes were soggy. Mango pudding was ok. Spinach dumplings were also ok

My new favorite spot in SF! 🍜 Cozy vibes, super friendly staff who make you feel instantly welcome, and some of the tastiest dumplings and noodles around. Great prices, flavorful drinks, and they also offer takeaway—perfect when you want their delicious food at home. A true neighborhood treasure!
