I lived in Chinatown for a number of years and in my opinion, this is THE BEST Chinese bakery!!! Everything they make is delicious, but my favorites are their egg custard tarts, sesame balls, and moon cakes! Their apple pies are darn good too! If you’re curious, check out their photos of big celebrities that have visited.
I bought 2 meat buns here for $5 or less 2 years ago. Usually meat buns are 2 for $7 or higher. That’s basically a steal and satisfied my craving. I think it would have been even better if I had some soy sauce with it.
I planned to come back, but I need to bring a soy sauce packet with me.
Naturally this place was cash only. It was run by a cute ol couple. The candles are also cute.

This is a pretty legit place for Chinese snacks and breakfast items. We ordered ma qiu (Chinese fried sesame dough balls). They are huge and taste 100% legit. The downside is case only. $5 for two.
