Stopped for breakfast yesterday while visiting my daughter in Hayes Valley. I was greeted with a warm smile and had engaging conversation with Ami while I enjoyed my breakfast at the counter. Delicious chicken apple sausage, eggs and hash brown. Great spot!

We ordered food that was brought by one of the waiters, when we were paying for the food, another waiter who didn't even serve us demanded a tip.

First ate here in 2013 and have talked about it ever since. Their bacon is a favorite, and everything else we've had was wonderful. Wonderful family.

THIS IS THE PLACE! I came in here randomly one day and now I’m here 2-3 times a week. The owner, Amy, exudes hospitality and the breakfast is the best in SF. I hope you love it as much as I do!

Love Eddie's. I've been going here for two decades. Their food is solid and reliably prepared right. Hash browns are old school and done right and best in town. Prices are good. Great atmosphere and friendly staff that remember you and greet you warmly. This is the kind of homey neighborhood diner that's hard to find in a big city these days.
It's a very small restaurant, but food is tasty and the women that I encountered as servers were very friendly. I hadn't been there in years, but it's still the same. Food was delicious and just the right portion, even though I initially thought it was small. I really liked that they are clean too!! I will be back for more!

Popular spot with decent breakfast food. Wouldn't say the food was outstanding, but the place has good vibes. Wasn't a big fan of the sausage patties but they were ok. Eggs were standard, but the pancakes were great and I was quite full afterward. The diner is decorated with lots of SF Giants bobbleheads. 멋있어요!

This is the loveliest, reasonably priced, unpretentious cafe I’ve been to in SF. I can’t wait to return. Thanks Eddie’s!
Long Wait, Cold food, too salty and smaller than expected portions. I think they may have become a victim of there own success, it appears that the quality of service and food is suffering due to the number of customers. I would imagine there a better options nearby. Not good for us.
Staff are very friendly, this review is not against them. My first time eating here, i get the grits because I’ve never had grits before. I open my box to a tiny portion of eggs and a massive portion of grits, no big deal maybe they are good? Grits are loaded with butter and they don’t even taste good. This review is not against the restaurant it’s against grits. What a terrible depressing invention. Very good service though for a busy restaurant. 👍🏻
