About Educated Palate Bakeshop

The Educated Palate Bakeshop is a delightful student-run enterprise that offers a variety of great treats at affordable prices. The bakeshop is often bustling with customers, with lines out the door during peak hours. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they provide useful information on the whiteboard about items that have sold out.

The menu features a range of baked goods, including the popular maple scone, peach danish, and green macaron. Savory options like the Turkey Pesto Jack Focaccia sandwich and the Jalapeno Sausage Rolls are also available and highly praised. Customers have noted the quality and freshness of the baked goods, which are discounted due to the student-run nature of the bakeshop.

Overall, the Educated Palate Bakeshop provides a great experience for both customers and the student bakers, who have the opportunity to hone their skills and interact with real customers.

For dessert the special angel food cake with macerated strawberry was a delightful...read full review

We come all the way from Stockton to enjoy this wonderful little restaurant. The food always delicious and the desserts are amazing. I always marvel on how much the students learn in such a short time. I only wish I lived closer.

Best bang for the buck in downtown. Professional staff (they're training, but the service was solid), excellent food and reasonable prices- what more can one ask? I had the special soup, the lemonade with ginger (not overbearing as it can be), the beef reuben and a pumpkin creme brulee (which was not totally set, but tasted good).
