Small hole in the wall with great tofu! They have good sushi but the best things are their specials and tofu!
There was a strange playlist but otherwise no other complaints

Cozy and delicious! Amazing tofu and daily specials options. The house made tofu (oboro) is a MUST, comes with sauces/toppings that enhances the flavors and is made when you order. It’s very soft and fresh!

Amazing food - if you can get it.
Their homemade tofu is just as advertised, soft, fresh and hearty. Nabe is great and the sashimi is standard.
However the waitress is ultra rude.
Also, some time the Google Maps info says “open” but when you get there the sign says “Close”. Even though we can see diners sitting inside. Not sure what the deal is.

I was so excited for this place!! I hardly ever feel the need to write a poor review but the service really warranted it. My party of 2 got there at 6, the first red flag was when I needed to explicitly ask to be served water which idk if I’m spoiled or something but I feel like that should be a given at a restaurant. We ordered our meal and it came quickly, and it was pretty good! I was still a little hungry after, and was deciding whether to order more nigiri or a dessert. It was 6:30 at this time and our waitress proceeded to really pressure us to leave, mentioning that there are people waiting and that there’s a time limit on the tables. I asked how long the time limit was, and she said an hour, so I tried to clarify that I had 30 minutes left to enjoy the table with my friend and at least a little more time to decide whether I wanted dessert. She continued to press us to order and didn’t make it seem like I had any extra time to decide, so we promptly left so they could take another customer. When I go out to eat, I hope to enjoy the meal and my company for at least more than 30 minutes. I’d definitely have wanted to bring more friends to this place if I felt like an enjoyable experience, but this was incredibly rushed and overall negative. Come here to get takeout or a super quick in and out meal. Definitely wouldn’t come for a date or catching up with a friend.
Came here and it’s quite small. Server told us to wait outside. As other reviews have said the service was quite lacklustre. The sushi was good but not anything super amazing.
Small intimate Japanese restaurant with excellent food at a fair price. Love this place
I used to love this place for its authentic food but I recently had to leave due to having a baby with my group. I asked for a table for four. The fourth person had a sleeping baby strapped to her chest that couldn’t hold its head up yet, much less sit. After waiting 30 minutes we were about to be seated at a vacant 4 person table, we were informed by a rude, curt, waiter who realized we had a baby that we would now have to wait for a table of five. We let the waiter know that a four person table was fine as the baby was physically incapable of using its own chair. The waiter insisted that if we had a baby, that counted as a fifth person no matter what and we’d have to wait. There were no apologies, just a frown and a cold, rude attitude. We ended up eating someplace else.
I want to stress that I almost never leave poor reviews of locally owned restaurants: not for bad service, not for bad food, or otherwise, because I know how hard it is to operate and I sympathize with small businesses. But this experience left a bad taste in my mouth that makes me think twice about supporting this place ever again.
so good!
Easy 5 stars. The food is outstanding and authentic. We had a few dishes (iwashi (sardine sushi), a roasted eggplant with miso and walnuts) you don’t often see on standard fare sushi restaurant menus. Salmon nigiri, unagi, ikura were also incredible. Very neat and cozy ambiance. About $175 for 2 of us, who ate a lot of food and shared 2 bottles of sake.
Didn’t feel welcome by their service, the lady is rude and impatient, will not go back anymore

Hours listed are incorrect. Tried getting a table at 8:45p on a Saturday but turned away rather rudely and informed kitchen closed. Restaurant smelled like fish which isn’t a great sign for freshness. Likely a blessing in disguise that we had to go elsewhere. Please update your hours on Google.
UMM why is this place not constantly packed?? With society’s total dependance on Yelp/Google reviews, rarely do you get the chance to stumble upon an underrated gem of a spot.
I came upon this place on my evening stroll and it looked cozy and inviting so I walked in.
There was no one else there (granted it was 5:30 on a Wednesday) and I was greeted and directed to a tiny booth in the corner.
Their menu was via QR code and I decided to order the tofu, sake sashimi, and gyoza.
Tofu — homemade, warm and creamy. Mild taste, not too salty. And came with green onion and ginger to season.
Sake sashimi — luxuriously fatty, silky texture. I’ve had plenty of salmon sashimi and this one was very solid and not crazy overpriced like others.
Gyoza — tasty and satisfying but not as memorable as the others dishes.
The vibes are definitely reminiscent of quaint, family-owned shops in Japan and I hope to return very soon!
Hidden gem that has some of the best food and nicest staff.
Long wait but great quality sushi and very interesting dishes
