I just had a really bad experience here. I waited 15+ minutes to order a cup of regular coffee. It wasn’t busy, they were just very slow.
When my coffee was finally ready, I picked it up from the counter and the lid popped right off. Hot coffee spilled all over my hand and the counter. I explained that the lid was not put on the coffee cup correctly and that was why it popped off. They tried to tell me that they don’t put the lids on securely because people like to put milk and sugar in their coffee. Excuse me? What a stupid thing to say.
They didn’t offer to clean up my hand, or offer me a cold compress. Now my hand is red, swollen and painful. I left and went home to put a compress on my hand.
Beware picking up coffee here. They seem to not care about your safely.

This little breakfast nook might not be for everyone, but it's exactly what I'm looking for. Not the slightest bit of that pretentiousness that other places use to justify their high prices. Very affordable. Very simple. Open early, it's the first place in the neighborhood to be warm, lit and comfortable at 5 a.m. Cafetazo has my vote for best grab-and-go breakfast, beating out Mellis with its spacious indoor seating. If you're in the neighborhood this is your best unfancy option. If you're halfway across town and it's 5:00 a.m., make the trip (or settle for Starbucks).

Do you like the thinnest amount of cream cheese on your bagel? This is your spot! Do you like staff that doesn't respond when you say "Good Morning!" and other nicities? This is your spot! Did I think I was going to have a new regular cafe when I'm in the Mission? I did, but this ain't my spot.

Muffin are not good and the ice cream cone was super stile and nasty
12.85 wasted down the drain . I'll never go back here again. Not for ice cream or a Muffin nor a cup of water . The ice cream was good but the ice cream cone wasn't .

Being accused for stealing is by far disrespectful. Safe to they have lost a customer. This is a place I would go to often. I support small businesses. I gain absolutely nothing by stealing a croissant. Do better next time.

It was the first time I ate in that place but you have to wait to be served and then I was surprised by my bagel, which is bad. I think they can tell that it was burnt because they wrapped it for me, that doesn't allow someone to come back like that again. you see.
