I haven’t had a burrito like this in a while. It took me back to how Mission taquerias would make their burritos in the 90’s.The Mexican red rice reminded me of my tías rice in Mexico. That authentic touch from the señoras. The chile verde had the right flavor with thick pieces of meat too. The spicy salsa while more mild was really tasty. I should’ve ordered more, 1 salsa container was not enough for my burrito. LolThe size portion and price of the super burrito was decent for the Financial District. It was definitely filling but not quite as big as other taquerias make it.I’ll definitely be going back to try their Acapulco burrito.Check them out if you’re in the area.4.5/5

Love burritos, love Mexican food. This place has two things going for it wait no three. It's reasonably as priced and looks like an og burrito spot. I believe this place had its day and age back in the 90s and early 2000s when the sf had its glory years. Today is nothing more than a mere relic of the past. I've had the wet burritos here a few times with the different meat offerings. Never had one of the dishes been appalling but rather mediocre. They are salty generally lack spice and flavor and can be overly salty. On the plus side, there is decent seating and someday this place could come back in style when sf is back to former glory.

Please avoid! Poor customer service and they were reported recently to the San Francisco Health Department for reusing chips.

Food is ok, don't think it's worth the wait. You can order online but the food is never ready when it's suppose to be, you can wait additional 30mins easy. They use to be a little bit more efficient but lately it's been bad. Walk in wait 10 mins to order even when the restaurant is empty, then go to pay and another 15 mins of just being ignored and again the restaurant is empty. The ladies can be a bit rude and not too friendly, might be the last time giving my money to them.

Probably the worse burrito you could ever have in San Francisco and that's saying A LOT. They are only opened on the weekdays from 7am-3:30pm, so we decided to stop here for lunch. However, it was a complete disaster. The 1 star is just for the $1 chips that's bagged up at the check-out counter. We ordered 2 burritos: 1 x al pastor super burrito and 1 x carne asada super burrito. Both terrible and I'll explain why in a moment. Neither burritos contained cheese or guac even though they asked if we wanted that on our burrito - we said yes. The first 10 bite has only beans then rice then eventually the meat. The meat was bland and tasteless, and the beans were over powering the whole burrito. It felt like we just ordered a bean burrito. How can you mess up a burrito this bad?

Disappointed. I got the happy burrito with chicken and all I could taste was the rice, beans, meat, and lettuce. The guacamole and sour cream was non existent and I also told them to add pico de gallo in my burrito, but they forgot. The taste of the beans definitely overpowered most of the ingredients. Just felt really bland. Also, their ordering process is confusing, halfway through the line you order with the staff who's making the food, and once you get to the register you pay. It should be all done at the register (the ordering) to make the process more efficient since it was also a long wait to order the food etc.

I was ordering lunch and saw a rat running across the floor. I decided to let that slide then I found a hair in my food. If you want clean fresh food I suggest you avoid this El Faro.
