Great place! The chilaquiles were awesome! The Mole Chilaquiles and Concha French toast are quite unique and tasty.
Carmen, Francisco and Miguel always have the best customer service and are very friendly. Food and cafe de olla were amazing.
La mejor comida Mexicana en San Francisco. It's family and female owned which only speaks to the type of service they provide and support the community.
Worth the hype COMPLETELY. My friend and I had a blast trying the breakfast sampler and the chilaquiles mole. The mole was rich, thick, sweet, with a good amount of spice - personally would have preferred it a little less sweet and a little more spicy, but that's just my personal preference for mole. It was still very tasty! The concha french toast though? SHOW. STOPPER. I could go back once a week to eat that and never tire of it. The cafe de olla is delicious as well, and pairs great with both the savory and sweet breakfast options. Please give this place your love- sometimes viral restaurants ARE actually authentically good, and this place commits to Mexican cuisine in a way by abuela would be proud of.
Really good food, love the chilaquiles from this place. I can tell you I am very picky, but this place has my heart now.
My husband had chilaquiles mole and I had CDMX plate with pork sauce, the concha French toast is so delicious 🤤😋.
The people that works in there are so friendly and kind, wonderful service.
CDMX plate is fantastic.
Really really good mole with roast chicken in a charming local spot. Great for lunch, I’ll be back!

One of my fav breakfast spots in the Mission! El Mil Amores is a small, cute, and homey restaurant in south Mission near Potrero Hill.
The chilaquiles were incredible. I chose verde for the salsa between verde and rojo. My friend got the CDMX plate and he loved it as well! The concha French toast it came with was fireeee.
Our server was very sweet and was able to answer questions about food allergies. I would definitely go again!
Dietary restrictions: They were comfortable answering questions about tree nut allergies

It's a small cute restaurant run by a lovely Mexican family. The staff is attentive and kind. The food is reasonably priced (broadly 15-25$ range) with huge portions, and it's authentic Mexican (ask the staff to explain the dishes to you!) I ordered a salsa verde dish which was great, but it was kinda sour for me (which I understand is how salsa verde tastes typically). A friend ordered a mole sauce dish that was delicious! So was the spiced coffee.
I went on a Sunday morning and had to wait for 30 minutes to get a table as the place is small (though we were also a large group). It's kid friendly and a popular spot for families.

The food is outstanding. I had the chilaquiles and French toast, it came with eggs and potatoes. The eggs were fluffy, the potatoes were perfectly seasoned, the coffee was very fresh as they grind their own beans in house. The chilaquiles were verde with pork in them and they were fabulous, just like my abuela used to make. The French toast is a concha (like a breakfast bread that is is baked) then it was fried with cinnamon and topped with a creamy icing and strawberries. It was to die for! Staff is wonderful!

The place is small, but with nice details and a calm atmosphere. The food is delicious, variety of chilaquiles. We didn't like the pancakes, because although they are served dipped in tres leches, the instantaneous flour flavor still comes out and I don't like food that is not prepared from scratch. The service is very friendly, which we appreciate, but they make too many mistakes when taking the order.
Parking: It is somewhat difficult to find parking, it is on the street and it is free.

i’ve lived in the mission for a little over a year, and i’m sad that it took me this long to visit this GEM. my sister and I came for brunch, and we got the enfrijoladas and chilaquiles. both were absolutely incredible. the food was so fresh and so flavorful. the chilaquiles were crispy with soft scrambled eggs, and were not soggy at all. the enfrijoladas were stuffed with soft scrambled eggs and veggies. the portions were generous as well. service was prompt and the employees were friendly. my sister got an agua fresca and said that the soursop flavor was delicious. would highly recommend this spot.
will def come here many more times before I head back to the east coast.
