I would come in more often if I wasn’t given the stink eye every time for not replying in Spanish. Sorry, I’m not Latina!!! Food is good, though, not complaining about that. I just expect to be looked at dirty when they ask me something in Spanish and I’m like “I’m sorry, what?”

Didn’t even get my food, ended up leaving because they called my order then said it wasn’t for me but for a couple that ordered after me. Mind you I was already waiting 10 minutes for the one item. Just cut my losses and left, awful service.

Delicious food

Roast chicken a little dry and unseasoned. Otherwise it's a fair price.

El Pollo Supremo its chicken is char-broiled de la parrilla after marinated overnight (I hope they still do) with the secret Mexican family recipe of Robert Alvarez who opened first in Oxnard then expanded to the Bay Area and East Coast with his associates (*Cuban flavor kicked in 🤔) I have known this place on Geneva since late 90s but have been absent for about a decade until recently. In sum ❶Chicken is tasty but little dry as noted by other reviewers; ❷Sauce is not bad but could opt for a variety such as Peri-Peri suggested by Ed Yu 😉[*Unlikely though because Ramiro is gonna turn 82 🫡]; ❸ Beans and rice are decent ❹Tortillas are terrible 😔❺Price is reasonable after all no one wants “roll the dice” for fancy pricey new joints nowadays…

I got the 2 pieces with one side and tortillas. The chicken was really good and tasty. The tortillas were really good also. The price is very reasonable.

Think of this as non-chain El Pollo Loco with more variety of food such as fish. I really like the no-frill feel of the place and when you pay for your meal they don't have the stupid tip amount most other restaurants do when you pay with credit card.

The chicken is tender and reasonably priced. My main problems are 1. They need to develop some sauce for the chicken because the only sauce they have now is salsa which is not optimal for the chicken. The result of this is that I actually prefer El Pollo Loco over this place because of the choices of sauces. 2 Parking is ridiculously tiny (both in terms of availability and the size of each car stall.

If they had peri peri sauce it would've been perfect.

It's still worth going since there really isn't any El Pollo Loco nearby and I like the no-frill service and that tip is truly optional.

An old gem and staple that hasn't changed with time. Every chance I get to walk in, I get hit with nostalgia. The smell is the first thing that always takes me back. From the moment you approach the door, the charboiled chicken just fills the air. The sauce pairs perfectly with the Spanish rice and pinto beans! I love the old 4 pc combo, but the burrito is a great bargain for what you get and avoid the hassle of getting through the bones. Never change and save this place at all cost by keep on supporting! Recently, I tried the fish and chips for the first time after all these years, and yes, it's good as well! Looking forward to keep exploring the menu and all the options they have available

Honestly it used to taste better but the service and the food quality is why this business needs to change or doesn’t deserve your business. We ordered now several times from them and issues are:

1. Missing (entire orders like an entire chicken meal) or even small sides or items.
2. When asked about it, they said just get a refund (without asking to make it right).
3. The chicken itself used to be delicious, but lately it’s been too dry/overcooked.

I’ve been a big fan for over 5 years (before pandemic) and wish them well but honestly since then it’s been slowly going downhill and hope they can change back to being amazing again. Lack of customer care and food not being as good as I used to.

If the owners really cared, I’ll give direct feedback and also work with them to try to improve. I love small businesses and really support them but it’s maybe a training issue that needs their attention.
