Great music. They had free Oysters on Friday
Didn't try the food, but drinks were delish. The bartenders working were also sweet and accommodating! The vibes when coming in were okay at first, but walking out to the open back patio, it was such a cool place. We started our night here to pre game and chill, and that we did! The heaters outside were perfect, especially for a cold SF night. Many queer folk around made it a super welcoming space. Would come again!
My favourite bar in the world! The best people work and come here. Kareokiki is so fun, everyone gets a chance to be a star 💖 and we love a bar where you have lots of space to dance!!!! The drinks are so good. And the water station is so accessible with a sign that tells you to drink water so I actually stayed properly hydrated!!! Happiest place on earth💞💞💞
Queer icons out the wazoo 💃
Lesbian/Trans/Queer friendly Bartenders are the sweetest bunch. And if you're lucky enough to go when the taco vendor is out back it's a full night all under one roof! Cost of tickets varies by events usually NOTAFLOF though
Straight man DJing the self described party for women (mango) playing straight man music all night long. No thank you.
Long live El Rio and the afternoon lesbian dance party.
It is an okay spot to chat and kick back. They are lgbtq+ friendly. Their drink prices are a little too high. We paid $30 including tip for a vodka sunrise and side car. After 1 drink I was ready to go because the DJ was playing some good music but no one was dancing. Everyone was huddled up in circles talking. I felt as if I were back in high school. If you’re looking for a queer friendly bar/club with a grown atmosphere, this will do however you might get bored extremely fast.

The bartender was rude. I asked for change for $10 to give a tip. He refused to give it saying that if I didn't think he was worth a $10 tip then don't give anything. By then he had served me two drinks that were were very good and it was a hosted bar so I gavr it. However, it was still rude.

I actually enjoyed the hour I spent here. I popped in for the first time to meet with some acquaintances and thought the backyard dancing/gathering space was really cool and refreshing. The salsa artists were lovely and talented as well. Great club.
However, I didn’t like the political decor. I found it antisemitic, which was a little distressing to me. I don’t know why it was necessary, especially when it can make people feel unsafe.
