Not a bad spot for good Mexican food and good prices. I ordered the pastor enchilada plate which came out to somewhere under $20. I thought the food itself was delicious (nothing groundbreaking, but I have had much worse Mexican food in the city), but I did end up adding extra salsa to amp up the spice. Luckily there is a complimentary chips, salsa, and pickled veggie bar in the back.
This review is for the breakfast burrito. Almost $20 and missing the potatoes. Kept biting to figure out where’s the potatoes? Ask before ordering the breakfast burrito if they are out of potatoes. The beans are very tasty have an extra star the spicy salsa is also flavorable.
I order fish tacos from El Super Burrito on Polk St, SF, whenever I am in the area. Uniformly delicious on multiple visits. Service is fast and professional. They give 5% discount if one pays in cash. I wish they also sold Tamarindo made fresh and made that suggestion to staff.
