Highly recommend these locked and loaded flavorful Argentina empanadas.Luckily, my work hosted a lunch to showcase LatinX month so I had the opportunity to try this place.I must say everything was really good. I tried these empanadas:Championes (FAV)Prosciutto (another fav lol)Carne Sauve Meat - spicy!!Pollo SaltadoOn another note, the chimichurri sauce was good, and their salad was so fresh. For dessert, the Alfajores is an absolute must! Thank you work for expanding my palate Lolol :)

Excellent empanadas! 4.5 star. However, way too picante for my Argentinean friends in BA.I enjoyed the crust and the filling. Mushroom was my favorite. This location is not a store, but you can order take out onsite. Parking is very limited.

I tried these empanadas at the West Coast Craft fair last weekend and they're the best empanadas I've had in the Bay Area. Also a great food to eat when you're walking around a fair and you don't have a place to sit down at a table.

I found these frozen empanadas in my freezer when my girlfriend was out of town and I didn't want to cook for myself. Threw them in the oven for 30 minutes and had the most amazing dinner I've ever made. These empanadas have a super flakey doughy crust, like a pastry. I just had to order another dozen so they'll be here before she gets back because I ate them all.Vegetarian options: The Best.

I ordered a champinones empanada, after seeing the El Sur food truck at West Coast Craft. It was amazing, the dough crispy on the outside, and chewy on the inside. The empanada was filled with juicy, warm mushrooms and cheese. Super fragrant and bursting with flavor!!

Love this place! We wanted to get empanadas and found the flash-frozen empanadas on the online store -- but needed a rush order. Michael was so lovely and responded to all my messages, and then fit me into their same-day delivery schedule super seamlessly. He was so nice!The empanadas were delivered well packaged and sealed, with a freezer bag-within-a-box. I'm excited to have them for our party tomorrow. Thank you El Sur!
El Sur empanadas are one of those things so near and dear to my heart I forget to write about them. I used to live in Potrero Hill right near their home base. I was happy to run into their truck outside spousies old work in Embarcadero. I think I even ran into their truck at Flower Piano or a similar music festival. Wherever I spot them, I know it is time for my favorite champiñones empanada with the perfect blend of squidgey delicious luxe cheeses. Since crossing the great bridge again into 510, these days it's order them on Good Eggs time. Still that same great taste experience!

Will NOT recommend! I tried their empanadas at an office event and it was good. For the holidays, I make an online order on 12/22 Thursday for next day pick up on 12/23 Friday. Their online system took my order and my credit card payment. I also got an email receipt to confirm my order. After an hour drive to their restaurant at Noon on 12/23, surprisingly I found their restaurant was closed. I called and rang their doorbell multiple times and couldn’t get hold of anyone. I waited around for an hour hoping the owner or someone may show up. No one was there and I was not able to get my paid order. If it’s a holiday hour change, they should post that on their website and not to take orders, and change the hours on google research as well. This is very disappointing and a waste of my time, and my holiday dinner plan had to change a bit. I couldn’t share the empanadas with the neighbors as planned. I will NOT recommend this business to anyone, no credibility!

Their website and google didn't mention any of the hour changes. I called and ring the doorbell multiple times. No one answered. I waited for an hour around and thought the owner may come back. I can't get hold of anyone. It is very disappointing that I drove an hour to pick up the food for the holiday but didn't get anything. They really need to update their holiday business hours if it's changed. The online ordering system should have blocked these orders. I emailed their information multiple times aswell. Hope I can reach someone on Monday if they are open. This is a waste of my time and a change of holiday dinner plan! I will NOT order from there again and will NOT recommend their business, No credibility as a small business.

I grabbed takeout here for lunch and it was perfect. I got the meal combo with two empanadas and a side salad, and it was so much food I couldn't finish it. I ordered the traditional beef empanada and the verde empanada, and both were delicious. The side salad was HUGE and crisp, very fresh. 10/10, would grab lunch here again any time.
