Illegal carcinogenic food packaging here for delivery orders. In SF illegal to pack Hot food in Cancer Causing Plastic Containers. The To Go El Toro lady literally insisted they only pack their hot food delivery orders in Plastic Containers! What other unhealthy food practices going on here!

While walking in this place was trying to go wash my hands and I was told no public restroom, so I didn’t even wanted to order anything!!!! What’s up with no bathroom??? Then this place should be closed where they wash their hands and use bathroom??? They hold it the whole shift??? Omg ridiculous

Vegetarian options: This place has really delicious tofu mixed with like a salsa type dressing. It's not a typical salsa it's a red sauce but that's the best I can explain because I'm not sure what it's called but it's very flavorful. It's not spicy at all.
It's good all by itself as like a little side dish or even a light meal it's so good. I'm normally not so much a tofu girl but I loved this tofu mix that they offer!
Parking: Parking can be somewhat difficult it's mostly street paid metered parking during regular hours of 8:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. but after 6:00 it is free free free free parking without paying for metered parking.

We were really disappointed by our takeout order tonight. One person ordered a super veggie burrito, but the burrito labeled "S/V" was actually the chicken burrito, and the veggie was labeled "D/X". It was colder than room temperature and unpleasant to eat. The super chicken burrito was okay, as was the super chicken fajita burrito (although half of it was lukewarm). All 3 burritos had very little guacamole and their cheese was not melted. The chips were solid and the pico de gallo was okay. Service was good.
I'm surprised the burritos were cold, since we ate them only 10 minutes after the pickup time. I suspect the pickup time is too pessimistic, letting the burritos get cold, and the cooks aren't heating the burritos enough. Maybe their sister restaurant is better, but I'm definitely not going back to El Toro.
Vegetarian options: They mislabeled our super veggie burrito with the meat burrito, but everything else was okay, so just be careful and check your burritos.

Don’t eat flautas/tacos dorados here. They look like enchiladas, they put them in the microwave before serving, which makes them soggy. Tacos dorados aren’t supposed to be soggy. They asked me if I wanted chips and tortillas with my tacos! Why would I want more tortillas? You already have tortillas in the tacos. I asked for spicy salsa and the salsa was bland. The food is just too Americanized Text mex for my taste. The culinary offerings at pseudo-Mexican establishments like this one do not do justice to the true essence of Mexican cuisine. If you want real Mexican food don’t come here.
