Nick was the best bartender and has an amazing knowledge of whiskey and the history of the bar. I would trust his recommendations and I’d you’re nice, he can tell you some amazing history about the bar. I’d recommend this place to anyone who loves whiskey or history of SF.

The balance of flavors, quality of spirits, and skill of the bartenders really stood out — truly some of the best cocktails I’ve had in the city.
The atmosphere is equally impressive — a warm, inviting space with a classic, old-school charm that makes you want to linger a little longer. Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur or just looking for a great spot to unwind, Elixir hits all the right notes.

If you want great cocktails a chill atmosphere and a bar with history, Elixir is a must! Kara slays when it comes to cocktails! She makes a KILLER Sunset Bananza and a Dark Manhattan. We have found our neighborhood watering hole.
