Went up to the bartender and asked what he can make with egg whites like a whiskey sour. Responded very rudely saying that he can make whatever and hurry up there’s staring eyes on him so hurry up. Very unexpected response. Not professional even under pressure.
Elixir is a super cool bar with an impressive selection of older Scotch bottlings. Their pricing is very reasonable, but the real gems are the lesser-known independent bottlings—you can discover some truly unique pours here. The only minor downside is that some bottles are stored high up and require a ladder to access, but if you visit on a quiet day, you’ll have the chance to sample a bunch of really interesting Scotches at surprisingly affordable prices.
Such a fun and cozy bar with a super cool history! They have a great selection of spirits and beers. The bar tenders are always friendly and knowledgeable. They often have fun/special events too. Definitely give em a follow on Instagram and check it out 🥃🍺
