Emmy's Spaghetti Shack

Dined here for the first time last night for my friend’s birthday dinner, and it was such a great experience! The ambiance, hospitality, and food made it well worth the visit. The Fettuccine Alfredo and Chicken Parm were my favorites — and the Spicy Caesar Salad & Garlic Bread were standouts too.

The chicken parm is amazing just tried it for the first time and I cannot recommend it enough. Emmy’s is my #1 recommendation in SF.

Been coming here for years, to the new and the original space:-) Everything was mostly awesome. Need to work on the lemon gnocchi. Way too much lemon. Almost couldn’t eat it. Still the best spaghetti and meatballs you can get in the bay.

I love Emmys. Been coming here for years. Walked in to put a single simple Lasagne order. The hostess had the worst attitude and didn’t want to deal with me. I get Fridays are busy days. She didn’t want to talk to me, pushed me onto someone else. I paid for my food and waited patiently. All I wanted to know how long will my order take. She gave me the worst attitude for the simple question. If you can’t do this simple job as a hostess and handle stress go do something else. Shout out to the bartender who checked on my order just reading the situation. This one star is not for Emmy’s but for the hostess.

I sat at the bar and the asked the bartender what he recommended so I had the chicken parm and it was delicious. I didn't know hard rootbeer was a thing till I tried it here and it was definitely rootbeer but hardly noticeable that it was hard which was a good thing and then I asked for a digestif and he served me a Japanese amora(sp?) Made from radish which was sweet with a slight radish taste that I found tasty and a nice finish to my meal there. Very friendly family style atmosphere but still suitable for a lone wolf such as myself with a bar and friendly and helpful staff

Great vibe and delicious food. We sat at the bar and Kat took care of us. Super attentive, and made some great recommendations on food and drink. Try the rigatoni and spaghetti and meatballs.

Not sure this place could have been any better. Food (especially the Cadillac lasagna) was delicious and the cocktails were top notch. Place punches well above its price point and has a welcoming atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone.

This place serves a proper serving of spaghetti and meatballs. I had to waddle my way out of the restaurant because I was so full. Order your meatballs grandma style (with pork, beef and cashews). You won’t regret it.

Also, the chicken parm in spicy vodka sauce. Where have you been all my life????

One of my go to’s. It is so delicious every time. Love the quirky decor and lovely atmosphere. I always want to try other dishes but their spaghetti and meatballs is something I can never not get. I’ve tried my friend’s dishes and they are all amazing. Highly recommend!

It’s a fun dive bar take on a spaghetti restaurant. Had a seat at the bar and the bartender was good company for a Saturday night. Fun for a travelling Aussie. Mission neighbourhood is fun and colourful (again for a visitor)
