One of the best places to go for roasted duck, it also comes with the bread for a little sandwich moment. They also have really good sizzling beef, it was almost like I was eating teriyaki chicken- perfect with a side of rice. This place is also great for large parties there's a ton of big tables if you're looking to get a family reunion together! Tons of street parking. We can on a Monday night and didn't have any trouble getting seated and finding parking.

Went there to celebrate a birthday, had a group of 12. Ordered the sticky rice chicken, Peking duck, house clay pot with eggplant and seafood, Hong Kong style tomato beef chow mein, a tofu dish, honey walnut prawns, and a couple more. The reason why I don't remember the other dishes is that the entire meal was non-descript, I.e. nothing memorable stood out. Sticky rice chicken was jammed with sticky rice, but neither the chicken or the sticky rice was a highlight. The clay pot the same, non-flavorful Peking duck, so on and so on. Nothing was bad or inedible, but nothing ( other than quantity of food) stood out. It's not that I wouldn't eat there, just not a place to go again.

Empero Taste has been one of the go-to restaurant for our large family gatherings, primarily because they have large circle tables to accommodate us. Of course, they do have some tasty dishes that has us returning again and again. Our most recent visit was to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Reservations are a must, especially when you need a big table. As a matter of fact, the place is packed at every visit. They do offer some great set banquet menus and have quite a selection to choose from. Some of our more recent dishes include: * Salted Fish Steamed Pork - This is a fan favorite all around. My sister enjoys it even more when there's more sauce to pour on your rice. * Snow Pea Leaves with Garlic - They do really good with their vegetables. * Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs - A new discovery for the Little Gal and wouldn't stop talking about it. * Salt and Pepper Pork Ribs * Beef Fried Rice * Salt & Pepper Calamari - The downfall of this dish was that we got it at the very end of our meal when we were very full. It's pretty salty and white rice is a must. * Egg Yolk Crab * Salt and Pepper Shrimp * Soup * Clams in Black Bean Sauce * Catfish with Tofu in Black Bean Sauce - This was not a favorite. I thought it was very bland. However, my brother really liked it. * Squab * Empress Chicken The restaurant is made up of two rooms - the second one being up a couple of stairs. The men's restroom is also located on that side. Something to keep in mind for those with mobility issues. A good sign with any Chinese restaurant is having Chinese customers and this is always the case. Service is what you can expect for a packed Chinese restaurant. You'll need to wave them down if you need anything extra. Overall, Emperor Taste does its job with giving you flavorful Chinese dishes. We always order too much and have plenty of leftovers. 3.5 stars

We have been coming here for Chinese New Year celebrations for years and the food never disappoints. The flavors are always on point. I didn't take a picture of the before but this was the leftover food and as you can see portions are more than generous. The dried oyster lettuce wraps were tasty but the star is the dried scallop sticky rice with chicken. It's deep fried and delicious. The surf clams with vermicelli are full of garlic but so full of clams. I really like the Peking duck here too and they don't skimp out on the meat. You definitely get your moneys worth here. Parking can be a little difficult to find since it's street parking only.

I just happen to pass by the restaurant after a meeting and decided to order some dishes for carry out.To my pleasant surprise, it is one the the slowly disappearing Cantonese/Hong Kong cuisine restaurant.The portions are large and while nothing is cheap, the prices are reasonable.The 梅菜扣肉 ， steamed pork belly with pickled/fermented mustard is one of the very best I have ever had.The restaurant is not upscale nor would it impress with ambience and service, but just yaving a good traditional Cantonese Hong Kong cuisin is heart warming enough.
