We wanted to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday at a nice steakhouse and we received excellent service and such delicious food. The restaurant really went the extra mile by preparing my boyfriend a cute birthday letter signed by the staff and we had our own menus that said happy birthday with his name on them ! We were seated near the water and the heaters/blankets protected us from the sf cold weather at night while enjoying a breathtaking view. Overall the perfect restaurant to celebrate a special day. Enjoyed a dinner with my wife to celebrate 21 years of our engagement. We started with the Epic Caesar Salad followed by our mains of Tenderloin and Ribeye, shared the Julia's scalloped potatoes and finished off the Epic brownie.

The ambience was fantastic, view spectacular, service impeccable. We had the shrimp cocktail, huge with delicious sauce. Followed with Porterhouse, cooked to perfection. We ooed and ahhed all the way through. The sides cauliflower, mushroom and mashed potato were out of this world. The tres leche was the only thing not great. Overall A++++ will always return.

We can summarise our experience in just one word... EPIC! From the moment you walk through the door you feel like you are enjoying an experience, not just a meal. The service is outstanding, the food isn't something that is comparable to anything I have eaten in a long time. It was quite simply sublime and the only disappointment was when we left to go home.

This was my second time dining at Epic Steak, and this time was for my birthday!! Both occasions they treated my friends and I with care and were attentive. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and extremely flavorful. I definitely recommend the truffle Mac & cheese as a side. We even customized a drink for our table! Overall I really enjoyed and appreciated the service provided and experience. I will definitely come back again!! Food 10/10! Service 10/10! We all left happy!

We had a wonderful birthday brunch at epic. The service, food and ambience were outstanding. The bbq platter and crab cake Benedict were particular highlights. The personal birthday touches made the meal very special. We will most certainly be back!

We took a holiday to San Francisco over my birthday week and had been looking for a restaurant to celebrate at, and this caught our eye during doing a bit of homework regarding our trip. A beautiful spot on the Embarcadero overlooking the bay bridge, with outside dining with heaters the service was second to none and my dessert was free as a gift for my birthday. I also received a card signed by all the staff. The food was amazing also. Is it expensive? Yeah, but you get what you pay for and it was worth every penny. It was one of my best birthdays. In a beautiful city at Beautiful restaurant.

I am extremely disappointed with Epic Steak. My experience here completely ruined what was supposed to be a special birthday trip. We ordered the pork chop, and when we noticed it looked undercooked, we immediately asked our server if it was safe to eat. They assured us it was fine, but later that night, we both became sick.
Accidents can happen, but what is truly unacceptable is the complete lack of response from management. I have been emailing and calling for 4 days straight, and no one has responded. It is impossible to get a real person on the phone because their automated system just loops you around with no option to speak to anyone directly.
For a restaurant that charges premium prices, I expected at least a basic level of professionalism and concern for their guests’ wellbeing. Between the undercooked food, getting sick, and being completely ignored afterward, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Epic Steak failed both in quality and customer service.
