This was the first time we got to sit upstairs and it was great. I brought a work colleague for drinks and dinner and it was exceptional as always. Michael was the waiter and I have to say he NEVER disappoints. Great service and great food. This was my friends first time at Epic and he LOVED it. Thanks for the great service.
I always get crab Benedict. This time the potato and veggies were so greasy I couldn't eat my food except for just a couple of bites. You could see so inch oil on the plate.
Sehr gutes Restaurant in ausgezeichneter Lage! Speziell am Abend mit der beleuchteten Bay-Bridge.
The occasion for our night out was to celebrate my retirement. The Epic team made me feel very welcome by giving me a congrats note which they all had signed! It was such a warm touch! The food was fantastic! We especially loved the "tomahawk" pork chop and the Julia's potatoes! And our server was very fun, friendly and accomodating. He was definitely looking out for us the whole night, making sure it was perfect and memorable!
Steak was super over cooked... they tried to fix but came out super over cooked again... they were nice and took if off the bill
Had a lovely time on a beautiful evening on the patio. Our waiter was helpful and all-around excellent, despite having to rush around to multiple tables. Entrees took a long time to get to us post-appetizer (not his fault). Peach/burrata appetizer was good (we've had better elsewhere); my wife's cod was very good; and my ribeye was outstanding. Price tag was high, but you're paying for the view — which is unmatched.
Visiting the area and found online. Superb filet, baby carrots, and caesar salad. Atmosphere beautiful!
Wonderful menu to select from with beautiful and flavorful dishes that did not disappoint. Service was outstanding and house staff friendly and attentive. Will be back!
We visited EPIC Steak to celebrate my partner's birthday, and the experience was memorable. Booking through OpenTable was intuitive and hassle-free. Upon arrival, we were given a lovely table as requested, and the staff warmly wished her a happy birthday. The personalized menu that read “Happy 35th Birthday” was a thoughtful touch that made the evening feel special. The ambience was wonderful, with large windows offering beautiful views of the bay and Bay Bridge. There were a few flies around, but this was a very minor distraction compared to the overall atmosphere. The food was excellent and cooked exactly as requested. The raw oysters and Caesar salad were standouts, and the refreshments were prepared perfectly. While it did take longer than expected for the main dishes to arrive, the quality made up for the wait. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely return for the food and experience. EPIC Steak is a must-visit spot for celebrating special occasions or simply enjoying a high-quality meal by the bay.
Wonderful meal and of course beautiful view. Celebrating our anniversary and all the staff made it feel even more special.

We would highly recommend Epic Steak, Embarcadero San Francisco. We had outside dining and the few of the Bay and Bay Bridge was fantastic! The whole staff was wonderful and treated like royalty. We had "The Best Damn Filet" which was cooked perfectly to your choosen. We chose the Julia Child's Potatoes, Mac N Cheese and Mushrooms to share. It was my husband's birthday and they gave him a Birthday Card with everyone's name on it. He was also treated to a wonderful dersert. Everyone kept wishing him "Happy Birthday". It was a wonderful experience, and first class. I would not recommend for kids. At night the Bay Bridge is all lit up which is very romantic.
Amazing location, weather was awesome, service was great. We sat a little close to the band.
Out table and view was beautiful. The service was very good. Food was just “ok” nothing special. Tomahawk steak was under cooked, we ordered medium came out pretty raw. The famous Julia potatoes were about a 2. The serving of potatoes was no where to be found on the plate and there was more sauce than potatoes. Cheese sauce was too cheesy & salty. The peach and burrata appetizer was very good! Great mix of flavors that worked great with each other.
Nice ambiance overall and great waiter. Kitchen took forever on our entrees, over 3 hours end to end. Ironically, the steak was not the highlight of the meal, and we'd not order the tomahawk ribeye again.
Waitress was unprofessional & rude, she didn't introduce herself or welcome us. She never once asked how everything is, I was the one thanking her & giving her customer service but she didn't pick up on it. The food was ok nothing special & the drinks watered down. I had no idea it was happy hr so we ordered from that menu & was disappointed. A place like this should always serve great food & drinks no matter what. I guess you pay for what you get.
