We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Espetus. Excellent selection of well prepared meats creatively served at our table. I'm not usually a fan of salad and sides bars, but every item I tried I enjoyed. My wife tried a different selection of meats and side, and enjoyed all of them as well. We'll be back to satisfy our craving for meat.
Food was great. The experience was phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great selection of meats, and the salad bar is plentiful and really tasty. Prices are fair and reasonable. I’d recommend this spot even for a date — the service is excellent with nothing to complain about.

The experience was strange, first I was served by a table then we ended up with another waiter, and very little attention. The meats were short, I think it wasn’t enough, there were no seafood. I once went to Napa from the same chain and excellent service. Here they fell short. I would come back maybe not, I have a bad taste in my mouth.

Do not recommend! All the meat is well overcooked. Most Brazilian steakhouses offer different temperatures but this one does not, all they serve is well meat that has clearly sat and was reheated. We came for dinner and left within 20 minutes. Will not be back

To hot to eat my food , AC was broken. Been going for 20 years and this was my worst time ever. I'll be going to the San Mateo one in the future
Amazing Brazilian steakhouse experience. Clean and open ambiance. Staff super helpful and attentive. Food is amazing and comes out piping hot. All around a worthwhile endeavor.

One of our favorite restaurants. The main room was uncomfortably warm--something we have not experienced before. And we were extremely disappointed to learn that, since the last time we were there, Espetus has reduced their hours and is no longer open during the day for lunch. So now we'll go there for dinner, on special occasions. P.S. We greatly appreciated seeing "Immigrants make America great"--a sentiment we wholeheartedly support--printed at the bottom of our bill/receipt.
Very good variety of meats, the salad bar is also well-stocked and very tasty. The prices are reasonable and not exaggerated.
I recommend this place even for a date, and the customer service leaves nothing to complain about.

The AC was down during this hot weather. It shouldn't happen for the big company. I'm very sorry for the staff and I didn't enjoy this meal as usual. Make me reconsider dining in during the summer.
Always excellent but prices have gone up dramatically in the past few years. Still a spot for special occasions
I took my fiance to this restaurant for her birthday dinner. After arrival and indicating we were ready to begin receiving food, it took at least 10-15 minutes for the first server to approach our table and offer food. Throughout the entire meal, I can count on one hand the number of times a server came to our table to offer food. We spent more time waiting with empty plates than we did actually eating.
The meat was okay but everything we ate was cold (baked mushrooms, potatoes, and especially the cheese bread). My fiance likes her steak well done and while that's not my preference, she was only able to eat about three small pieces which were medium-well at best and no attempt at making it right. My fiance asked for more cheese bread, half an hour after we asked, we were told they were still making them, and we never got them.
This place came highly recommended by SF locals and I therefore had high expectations. However, for a place that charges significantly more than the standard chain restaurants (Texas de Brazil and Fogo de Chão), and as regulars at Brazilian steakhouses, my recommendation for anyone interested in a good experience would be to go somewhere else and if you're specifically looking for a Brazilian steakhouse, skip this location altogether and just go to one of the tried and true chain restaurants.
I only went to this location, unsure how the other location might compare.

Loved all the meats and salad bar. Service staff were awesome! They were attentive and accommodating. I highly recommend!
Every single thing they brought by the table was top-shelf. My cheeks are watering just thinking about the bacon-wrapped filet mignon. And the roasted pineapple is to die for! Worth every penny!
