etcetera wine bar is one of the most underrated hidden gems in SF! found them when looking for a light dinner place after coworking nearby at lans. i love their wine flights (red, white and orange) from all around the world, their stuffed mushroom and Flammkuchen are to die for. live music everyday from 6-9pm.
My friend has a severe nut allergy and came here to just enjoy a night out with some friends. There were no nuts listed on the allergen menu and no warning of nuts being in the dish she ended up ordering. She ended up having a severe allergic reaction (ended up in hospital) to which the waitress said this is not the first time it has happened here. This is seriously concerning and could’ve been completely avoided by having a proper allergen menu. If you have any type of allergy - NEVER come here. There are even symbols for spice level but not for actual life threatening allergens. Make that make sense? Do better!

I was here pretty late a few weeks ago and had the best service by one of the bartenders here. I can’t recall his name but he was so helpful and kind. He was super knowledgeable and all this recommendations were a hit. I want to say his name is Matt but he did mention he never really works Friday nights.

San Francisco just does not have enough wine bars so it is nice to find one near us in the Mission There is a decent selection of varietals and the atmosphere is perfect for a quiet after dinner drink to finish an evening We have had good luck walking up to the bar so far and the live music is a definite draw
