Great vibe. Friendly bartenders and great cocktails. Was there as the staff transitioned but the vibe didn't change and the music was great.

Not your average club, this is a small intimate venue that caters to electronic music culture aficionados while providing a safe and inclusive space. Lots of nights featuring drum and bass, industrial techno, niche house djs etc. Bartenders are no bs, efficient and fast. Good security too, they have no tolerance for creeps!

One of the bartenders (can never remember the name……Is the earnest Hemingway of bartending....the one that’s there at night sometimes )
is extremely efficient at serving drinks in such a busy venue. Their signature drinks doesn’t exclude Red Bull or water. Pricey, but worth it. Long islands are great as well and they give out free water keeping patrons hydration and budget in mind while simultaneously prevents the attraction and prevalence of open air bottled water dealing which can lead to lemonade stands and even open open air alcohol vending like you see at questionable venues. This strategy ultimately increases sales. Brilliant
3rd best bartender in sf
And Probably top 5th best bartender ever after….
-4. the bartender at the club down the street that looks identical
-3. One of the blondes from coyote ugly
-2. The real heavy weight champ. (also sf) who has to work from 6 to noon Sundays at this place that caters specifically for those who are too drunk to be admitted to 850 Bryant or Santa Rita
-1. Moe sizlak from the simpsons, a jerk
, but he always answers the phone when annoying people badger him and he knows how to perfect the greatest drink in the world-a pepto bismopolitan aka a pink Cadillac.(not to be confused with the inferior margarita that stole the name)
They don’t serve these here…yet
But you can always pink caddy pre game in one of the nearby alleys.
The art curator is also great at networking and great and helping struggling artists with “outgoing” personalities. They have good art at least 10 months every year , this year the Best periods to check out the art were January to early July and now (late August onwards)
Another great employee (I think the name starts with a B or a D, or a U or maybe a Y or maybe a silent Z) is the one who turns the lighting to the right setting
The employee with tattoos and is in there 30s is also extremely friendly
Theres another (god I’m Terrible with names ) who will actually go overboard to meet with people even if they have to wait , and take time away from their day off. This one really needs a raise.
And Mike the bouncer is great .
Then theres boss (this guy makes the studio 54 guys look like amateurs) he’s kind but he’s also a no nonsense guy.
Rick James wouldn’t dare to even consider putting his clean slippers anywhere near any of the couches in here. Not the kinda guy who buys cheap flashlights at home debot on an ebt card.
He deserves 96 percent of the credit for keeping this place alive and well-and most important safe. Mike deserves at least 3 percent.
Given the crowd the safety here is extremely keen. And a non issue. I’ve never seen any hazards any danger or any accidents or even spilled drinks in the bar. The crowd is welcoming.
I mean Once in awhile some idiot may fall over outside after hours but nothing to crazy.
and , ya know , you do get ppl clearly looking for attention who wear silly attire like over dressed suits , excessive jewelry or boots that might not even be legal, but most of the denizens are very mature polite and responsible
I would highly recommend this venue (especially if u don’t have work Mondays and Thursdays
Give the boss big time props for hiring professionals like Mike and the other ones i mentioned previously.
Oh, there’s also music and a bunch of mirrors in the back that people stare into for non specific periods of time.
Great place!
Always Tip all of the bartenders!

Too loud, good variety of events, always hot, drinks are average but bartenders are professional. Security does a great job. The prices are very fair and you can go in and out.

They brought Oscar Mulero.
visited for the first time on march 1, 2024 and the lights for the show (by Chris Bender) were the best thing i’ve ever seen in my entire life
Owner is rude and unwavering, security are perfect and save his credibility. Lucky to have that staff , they have a connection with the people and remain true to the city.

Really enjoyed the layout and coziness. Fog machine was a bit intense! A Hazer would work better in that space. But overall I really enjoyed it. Went two nights in a row! Great talent and clientele weren’t obnoxious.
