Farley’s has been my favorite neighborhood coffee shop for the last two years! Potrero Hill is always great location whether you need to park or if you are walking there. The coffee shop is dog friendly 🐶 They even have dog treats!

I usually grab a cappuccino or a matcha latte. If you need a strong, smooth cappuccino Farley’s is your place. When it comes to the matcha, they don’t make it too sweet which is nice. There is a hint of sweetness, but it’s so subtle.
Overall, the vibe is great and I would recommend checking it out the next time you are in Potrero!

I love Farley's and have gone for decades. I truly appreciate the workers, and the drinks and empanadas are yummy. You may have to wade through laptop zombies and tech bros though. Ugh.

Is there a better combo than a Farley’s cappuccino and a Hazel’s 1b on Dutch Crunch? I think not.

I go there with my 80 yo mom as this was a Bucher shop when I was a kid living just on the next block where we used to live and we talk about the hill and how its changed and how chill Farley's is and how nice the service and staff are, we like it a lot there and it feels like home to us.

Good coffee, great atmosphere. No WiFi, on purpose, it’s that vibe and it worked: conversations and pups everywhere.

No outlets, not even away from the tables for urgent charging.

Late December 2025 Local cafe with a very artistic vibe

One of growing coffee ☕️ places that sell imported beans as well as other specialty blends and drinks.

They have a neighborhood communal feel and a have very diverse set of tables and nooks. A journal and periodically corner lends to this casual creative space.

I ordered a drink to go, but it was handed to me without a lid. When I politely asked if I could get one, the barista working on Saturday the 27th around 1:45 PM responded condescendingly and pointed to a decal on the counter indicating that the lids were on the other side.

Providing basic items like lids is part of the job, and the interaction felt unnecessarily rude. Granted, it wasn’t busy either. I don’t enjoy spending my money at places where customers are treated that way. That said, the cashier was very polite, and the matcha itself was good.

What a lovely spot that feels like community. Excellent coffee, thoughtfully curated reading materials, relaxed employees and as a result patrons. Will be back again and again.

This shop is indeed popular and the coffee is good. I got the seasonal pumpkin iced latte and it is on point. I probably should get the hot version so that it doesn't dilute over time. I love the vibe of a local neighborhood where people pass by petting dogs and such.
