Just popped in for a blueberry scone, one of my favorite baked goods. It was the best I’ve ever had. Slight crisp on the outside, moist and fluffy on the inside. Will come back just for the scone.

This is a peculiar review, as I have never gone to Fillmore Bakeshop, nor do I even live anywhere near it; I actually live in Puerto Rico. But one of my best friends lives in San Francisco and wanted something special for his birthday cake this year. He's never been knowledgeable about baking but got into it when we binged the baking competition show Crime Scene Kitchen together, so I did my research on good bakeries near his home and found out about Fillmore.

I'm a local. This is a great local bakery that offers an amazing variety of delicious baked goods with something to please everyone in the family. I also appreciate that I've been visiting the bakery for years and the same friendly and happy staff are there. This tells me that the owner treats her team well and that the team loves their work. I hope the city government does everything it can to keep businesses like this in the city.
