We were seated in the back room which has less ambiance than the first room with the bar and the main dining room. The service was friendly but was slow at the beginning. The food was solid, but the Alfredo pasta and cannoli had some textural issues. My husband did enjoy the osso buco with polenta.
Been going here for 15 years. Great food, friendly staff. Highly recommend if you like Italian food.
Wonderful ambiance, food and service, with a full and very diverse menu. And thoughthe menus says salmon poached... you can get it grilled!!!
The food was delicious and ambience exceptional - My family has been celebrating New Year's Day at the Fior' for 20 years and it never disappoints!!
Has gone downhill immensely . This used to be a 3 on a scale of 1-5 for old school typical Italian dishes ( don't expect anything artisanal or innovative that's not what this place is - it's solid old school Italian ). But the food on New Year's Eve was not edible . The worst was the Osso bucco , quite possible the worst cut of meat I was ever served in a restaurant , I found myself wondering if it was really veal. Tortellini all a Pana tasteless , no way it was fresh house made pasta . The entrees were served on extremely hot plates .. I suspect stuff was made a few days ago and then microwaved . The red pepper appetizer a joke - $20 for some red peppers with a side of anchovy “ sauce “ but was just some salad dressing . Food was gross and a rip off . Servers , host and everyone working there was very kind and we appreciated the piano music too . But unfortunately the food was simply grotesque .
I decided to come to Fior d' Italia for my 18th birthday dinner, and me and my family had THE BEST time!! I'm so happy I came here. The food and service is always so amazing!
The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. It was my second time dining there, and I would absolutely come back!
Fior d'Italia has held a special place in my heart since earning my undergraduate degree at San Francisco State University, and I was lucky enough to secure a table on the 100th anniversary of the restaurant in, ahem, 1986. Although it was forced to move from its iconic location a few years back due to a devastating fire, the owners, chefs, and wait staff have risen like a Phoenix from the literal ashes. The sights, the smells, and the tastes of old world Italy come shining through. Burrata cheese salad with fresh, heirloom tomatoes and pickled olives in a light balsamic, a bowl of pasta in Bolognese, a juicy, medium-rare steak flavored with a deep peppercorn sauce, and veal scaloppini with mushrooms all tickled the palate. Throw in a bottle of chianti (actually cabernet sauvignon) or Pieroni beer, a really fine wait staff, and welcoming hosts, and a better evening out cannot be found anywhere this side of Lake Como, Tuscany, or Roma. Grazi!
Wonderful evening! Food was amazing! Highlights were lasagna and ravioli di Zucca. Super busy on Christmas day but worth the wait! Thank you!
I came to Fiord' Italia for thanksgiving and again for xmas. My experience in both occasions was disappointing. The price fixed thanksgiving dinner was tasteless and under seasoned. Our party ordered various meals for xmas and was disappointed when escargot did not arrive at our table only to learn that the kitchen had run out. It was only 1:00 pm When we tried to replace the escargot with oysters, they were also out. The entrees were acceptable but also under seasoned. The zabaglione tasted too strongly of marsala, the chef not having cooked down the wine sufficiently to dissipate the raw alcohol flavor. And most disappointingly, when we arrived at home, three of the four of us suffered upset stomaches - pain, gurgles and lots of gas from something we had eaten there. My family has frequented Fior for generations, but after this lackluster performance, we have been there for the last time. Too bad.

Muy buena comida y servicio rápido y Eficiente con menú auténtico Italiano El servicio es muy rápido y los meseros son agradables
Always one of our favorite meals of the year. Gil was a great server and the entire team was so kind to our young kids.
Been going to the Fior at this and the previous location for most of my life. I was explaining to my son that my own style of Italian cooking and taste profile developed from dining at the Fior. Service was great.
5++ star food and experience. Old School Italian menu and atomosphere with broad menu of classics served by warm and kind staff. Excellent wine list and value. Highly recommend
