My only complaint was service was slow but otherwise, everyone made us feel welcome! The salad and pizza was what we needed
After a long walk around GGP, we wrapped up the evening at Fiorella. We were immediately welcomed by a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere that perfectly balanced casual comfort with celebratory energy that created the backdrop for a meal worth savoring. We ordered: - NOPEROL SPRITZ (giffard and martini & rossi, n/a aperitivos, good twin n/a sparkling wine) — refreshing and thoughtfully crafted - SAUVIGNON BLANC (2024, Walter Hansel, Sonoma County) — full-bodied with crisp acidity, offering bright notes of citrus pith, pineapple, grapefruit, tarragon, and ginger - NYC STYLE PEPPERONI PIE (Ezzo pepperoni, 'NYC slice' style sauce, mozzarella & grana padano) — showcased everything Fiorella does well: a nicely charred, chewy crust, rich flavor, and an unexpected hit of garlic slices that provided an extra layer of flavor and personality. Service was attentive and friendly throughout. Overall, Fiorella Sunset delivers on both atmosphere and cuisine, and is a local gem that every Italian food lover should try!
Had one of the best damn salads in my life here. It was transcendental. The Nonna's Meatballs were good. The Bolognese was good. But that salad with the magic-laced croutons were another experience entirely. I forget what it was but it was seasonal. It was mind-blowingly delicious. Could eat that every day. 10/10 would go again.
I suggest making a resy in order to avoid the wait, this place can get filled up pretty quickly. We were a party of four and one of our friends is a vegetarian, so we made sure there were options. We ordered a salad, the burrata pizza, Nona's meatballs, the squid ink pasta, and the bolognese pasta. Our group pretty much shared all of the plates and they were all super tasty! We ordered a bottle of the Nebbiolo and that complimented the meal perfectly. Service was great! I will be coming back!
Fiorella is a neighborhood gem. The pasta dishes are delicious. The lettuce salad is bit too cold as it was pre-made and refrigerated. The kitchen should give it at least 10 minutes rest prior to serve. The waiting person was just too busy to take care too many tables and felt unattended. Also, there was a long wait between the appetizer and the pasta course and the waiter was unable to address it properly. The SF mandate seems getting more and more. It started from $1.5pp and now up to 6% of the tab. We understand the margin of running a restaurant is low but the trend of surcharges feels out of hand, just like hotels. Bread serving is now for fee. When will we start to pay for the seat? To be honest, I will be happy to pay for the price when the restaurant adds 6% into the menu instead of asking patrons to pay extra after the dinner. This policy ends up hurting the server tips or patrons stop coming in but just do the take out to avoid the surcharge and tips. Hope the restaurant can the balance of the solution. We want our workers have access to health care but where should we place that expenses?
The service wasn’t the best everything came out late as well as the condiments I requested. The pizza itself was burnt around the edges and the center still raw. Greasy from the sausage on the pizza as well. I also had the wings which had some chicken feathers still attached. For two items and some wine I feel over 90$ was a bit high. All in all, I don’t think I’ll be coming back but the place has potential.
Fiorella is always great, and last night was no exception! Sammy was a wonderful server, so helpful and knowledgable! She recommended some new menu items, the Wilted Chicories and the Pesto Cavatelli, both of which were wonderful. The maitre'd was also so kind and helped us with our reservation, but we didn't catch her name. Thank you Fiorella Sunset for another amazing evening!
We enjoyed a delicious meal and were delighted that we were able to order a bottle wine during happy hour for 50% off! We will definitely be back!
Really aggressive waiters, weird music choices, and food was overpriced given the portions.
The food here is quite good: lightly charred and chewy-crusted pizzas, better sized pasta portions than most SF restaurants (We were 2, split one pizza, one pasta, and an app), very pleased that the kitchen split the pasta order into two separate bowls (at our server's instigation, not ours). Downside is that even on a Monday night with the upstairs dining room not in use, it was incredibly loud. We asked to switch tables and were accommodated graciously, but in the end, it was just as noisy where we were reseated. This is a well-located spot for Inner Sunset neighborhood dining, but not being able to easily converse makes me come here less frequently than I might otherwise.

Everything was so fresh and delicious. Service was excellent. Lovely place to stop, grab a drink and some delicious Italian food
Fantastic meal, had no idea there was a food happy hour. Great prices for great food, service and fun! Perfect way to end our pickleball play and enjoy a great meal steps away from our pickleball court at Golden Gate Park!
Good affordable Italian. The peach prosciutto appetizer is awesome, get it!. The corn pizza is also a favorite. Can get a bit loud and on Wednesday they have some family specials and there might be more kids than usual.(fyi-in case you are planning a date) great place for kids though, wide selection and good deal on Wednesdays.

The food and service was excellent. Their cocktails were amazing too. Would definitely recommend this place for an adult gathering. I am unsure if it's suitable for young kids but I'm sure they would love the food! Highly recommend dining at thru Sunset restaurant.
We come here regularly and love it. The food is fantastic, the ambience is excellent and the service is always top-notch. Highly recommend it. The Arancini is out of this world amazing!! We're already looking forward to our next meal at the Sunset location. Thanks!
