Firepie has become our go to for pizza. Super fast, exactly as described, friendly staff, good ingredients, tasty stuff. The regular discounts and dessert offers for delivery are great bonuses. The pies are the perfect size for one hungry adult or two kids, and are at your door with a quickness not found elsewhere. Highly recommended.

Amazing food, quick service, and even outstanding service- we goofed and ordered at the wrong store, and after I had walked there and discovered our mistake, she called the other place to let them know and made our pizza at the location we hadn't ordered at. Lovely people with amazing pizza!

This is very good Napoli style with really incredible the crust. Rick told me all about dough and how they go extra eforts to make it perfect. You have no idea how many steps. Rick very passionate. My girlfriend also liked it very much.

Fire Pie pizza not only has their own location in the Mission district, but also, they have a food truck in Cesar Chavez Street also located in the Mission district in San Francisco. I went to their main location (the one on 16th street) and I can’t believe what I saw. Imported from Italy, they have a 900+ wood burning pizza oven which I think that’s insane. The pizzas cook about 90 secs and it’s super quick, fast, easy, and authentic. I had never seen a pizza oven so vast before and of course, the taste of the pizzas were delicious as well!I got their vegan veggie Rosa (which is cheeseless pizza) and their vegetarian pizza with cheese. I have to say the pizzas did not disappoint! Both of them were made well and I was in love. My favorite one would be the one with cheese on it only because I think there is more flavor with the cheese on; they do 3 types of cheeses. The pizza dough was like the best part in my opinion. The char on the pizza dough was spot on and it wasn’t rubbery. It was crunchy but it wasn’t burnt at all which I'm not surprised about because they know how to really deliver a pizza!Overall, I definitely would check out this pizza place when you come to SF. The menu is small but I always love it when restaurants keep their menu small and execute them versus having many things on the menu, but the food is sloppy and not on par. The servers were very nice to me and I really would recommend this pizza place.

Stay posted Update So today 03/08 I went again here to try the pie and I must say it's on point. GOOD PIZZA NOT BURNT AND MADE WITH LOVE. I really enjoyed this pizza today and the Cheese pull was there and the ingredients fresh. The crust was sweet as it should be and the red sauce addicting . I understand with Covid and closing time the pizza I was served initially but what took me by surprise is Rick making it right. Thank you owner Rick for allowing me to try great pizza and leading by example. Last night I had this biggest pizza craving I wanted to try a new pizza places. Firepie here I go. Let's start off by saying I don't like burning the wick at both ends one star review , empty carbs, and my dub, but for my own memories sake let's go. They got fire here but the fire here will burn your bread. I had burnt breadsticks that tasted bitter and the bottom was black. The Dough Of pizza itself morphed with pan which means it was dried onto the pan / left on the pan for some time ewwww. For the price I paid $20 I wouldn't even pay half. I wanted to pick up this pizza fresh but the app/ vendor Never ever updated the food was ready for pickup. I was quoted 20:51-21-01 and they was closing the door at 2100. I finally went to see at 2101 and The manager deer in headlights and me was looking at each other what's up. What a huge disconnect and a disappointment. They want the price but don't Provide the service / love . I would be back to try it if the pizza was made with love and not burnt .

looking for a good vegan pizza?.... in my opinion this is not it. the pizza crust and ingredients were fresh..: but i didn't like the vegan veggie red. i love brussel sprouts so I thought they would be good on the pizza...Not really... Not at all! In addition, the pizza was a bit dry. I think these pizza toppings would be better off served with a salad and sourdough bread. personally i would prefer a little more oil on my pizza... but if your going for vegan plant based pizza with VERY minimal oil then then I would recommend this, but if not... just get a salad and some sourdough.

They make this pizza as fast as possible and burn the crust really bad. Not tasty unless you like burnt up pizza. The flavor is lost and way too pricey for what this is.

“90 sec cook times” - waited 10 and half minutes for my pizza (only 1 other order at the time). Crew was disorganized, they took our pizza out and then let it sit as they conversed.

The pizzas are good and made fast. Cursing by and want a fast curbside pie? This is the place!I’d like it if they had black olives for the margarita and occasionally a pie will come out a bit too burnt on the bottom. Don’t read this wrong, they are usually fine. Solid 4 stars.My 9 year old kid gives it about 1,000,000 stars, so that makes it an oft visited spot.

I had a pizza with mushroom the at very first time there i heared a lot about this resturaunt. i am a foodie so i was to much excited to be rthere and want to bite to some delecious food i feeling so much craving till i reached there I's so happy they are right across the street from where I work ( James coffee) I had the mushroom pizza Just the right bit of chew to the crust it was too much smooth and very easy to chewable the mushroomy smell was tantalizing! I meant to save half for later, but could 't stop eating it and devoured the whole thing! Nice little arugula salad too. Great service. Welldone Farnando

After my initial review Rich the owner reached out and really looked to turn my experience around. As someone who's always been big on customer service and appreciative of ppl who genuinely care and show it by going above and beyond, I respect this local business that much more. Giving it another try, I'll say it was definitely better, but the window to eat the pizza I'd say us 15 minutes max from handoff. Perhaps it's just not my preferred style/type of pizza, but it was at least better than my first try. 5 stars - service 3.5 stars - pizza itself (but again, prob just not my type of face pizza... everyone else seems to love it)

Hmmm it was OKAY to be honest. It arrived cold so that was a bummer but many deliveries do...I wish there was a way Firepie and others kept the temperature on the way to customers because there is a specific way pizzas are cooked and heated that makes all the difference and if we put it in our ovens/microwaves guesstimating how to heat it then it may or may not come out the way the restaurant would have liked to present it. On the same accord, it definitely is possible that it cooled off at the restaurant before it even showed it. However, this place has thick slices but the bread isn't to die for like other pizzas I have had and more pricey than other options in the area. Probably would be a least likely to order again IMO.
